One year ago he began to show the first signs of the disease, and very quickly was diagnosed with a tumor in his head. Today, the 6-year-old boy, Roli Xhoxhi, is unable to walk without a wheelchair, while the pain from the illness keeps increasing. “The doctors told us that the cerebral artery was damaged and that he was at a more serious stage of the disease. After treating him at the Tirana Hospital, we went to Italy for 4 months, and returned in November of last year. The boy is at home; he is no longer continuing therapy. The doctors have told us that the disease is very advanced and we are only in God’s hands,” says the boy’s mother, Rudina Xhoxhi.
