The Property Treatment Agency has published the standard form that owners whose land has been occupied by unauthorized construction must fill out in order to receive compensation for the land. The application cost is 2,000 lekë, while the deadline for reviewing the request is 90 days. Within 60 days from receipt of the request, the working group verifies the documents, while the director of the Property Treatment Agency signs the payments within 30 days after verification. The process of registering or accepting compensation requests begins 5 days after the date of the public notice. By order of the ATP general director, a working group is established to receive and review requests, aimed at compensating owners of immovable property, private property affected by informal constructions, and distributing the relevant fund.
