One year ago he began to show the first signs of the illness, and very soon he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Today, the 6-year-old boy, Reli Xhoxhi, is unable to walk without his wheelchair, while the pain caused by the disease is getting worse and worse. “The doctors told us that the cerebral trunk was damaged and that it was one of the most serious stages of the disease. After treating him at the Tirana Hospital, we went to Italy for 4 months, and returned in November last year. The boy is at home, he is no longer continuing therapy. The doctors have told us that the disease is very advanced and we are only in God’s hands,” says the boy’s mother, Rudina Xhoxhi. After returning to Albania, the 6-year-old’s family began looking for help...
