After the complete success of the notorious political trial «Poliçan ’92», in which the «criminals» were sentenced only to the period they had spent in pretrial detention, we are informed that the «arch-criminal» Ilir Meta, the organizer and mastermind of the «communist» revolt, was never summoned either for questioning or to court, despite all the uproar, parliamentary debates, and the lifting of immunity over this affair.(!)
At the court hearing of «Poliçan ’92», the name of the «arch-criminal», the MP stripped of immunity, was mentioned only once.
Why, then, was MP Meta’s immunity lifted? Ilir Meta’s accusers, Ministers Zhulali and Kopliku, can and should explain this.
