PD deputy Arben Lika’s immunity is lifted
He will be sent for criminal prosecution
Yesterday, in the morning session of the People's Assembly, Sali Berisha was again approached by the General Prosecutor's Office in Parliament regarding the lifting of the immunity of PD deputy Arben Lika. We did not find out why the Socialist deputies voted as the spokesman of their parliamentary group, Mr. Ndocë Mazi, gave no explanation for the vote on this issue. Deputy Lika himself stated before the session’s participants that he held on to his innocence. The parliamentary assembly’s bodies have been tasked with handling the Prosecutor’s request to lift Arben Lika’s immunity and send him for criminal prosecution, as anti-state activity has been established.
