5,000 Albanians expelled from Greece

400 Albanians are detained every day by the Greek police Some ??? illegal Albanian migrants were expelled from Greece since the beginning of June, one on Monday by the Ioannina police. 4,329 Albanians were detained and 549 others from 1 to 3 July. They are expelled by the police. According to the chief of police of Ioannina, Athanasios Kofis, “at least 400 Albanians are detained every day by the police at the Greek-Albanian border in an illegal manner”. Around 25,000 illegal Albanian migrants were expelled from Greece during the last 11 months, stated the Greek news agency Athinenski, adding that it was the first time the number of migrants officially detained over such a short period had been so high. About 250,000 Albanian emigrants, most of them without proper documents, have been living and working in Greece since the collapse of the communist regime in Albania; alongside them in Greece lives an informal number of Aphs and Thinas.

Killed in the Tirana court

Suo vradeci paid a “visit” and ended up in a cell... Sulo C[...]i, 73 years old, went to make a statement in his own name, a doctor’s certificate with the old document. As the court process was being concluded, he was escorted to the court. After the defendant challenged the judicial panel, a special request was made for detention by order of the prosecutor. It is learned that, due to the defendant’s circumstances, he was sentenced to 24 hours in pre-trial detention, after which the final request would be sent to the cell. At the time they gave his name as well, Sulo C[...]i was accompanied by 2 police relatives. According to the statements, the murder weapon was a hammer. Initially another weapon was suspected, but the expert report shows that everything happened through blows to the head. Since May, he had been hiding, but two days ago he appeared in Tirana and ended up in a cell.
