Medical assistance was provided for the extreme measures taken against him by the gendarmes of the Tirana prosecutor’s office after he had been left a short time earlier in the cell. Apparently it was necessary to force the issue, the competent authorities insisted on the request. Relatives accompanied him to the military hospital, where doctors finally removed them. I am a Greek businessman citizen from Thessaloniki, I came to Albania on 10/3/1994, for work in Gjirokastër, but for various reasons I could not carry out my business and returned to Macedonia, where I stayed 18 days. I came last month to Albania through “Kakavijë”; when I arrived in Albania, I liked this country and with my companion we decided to go to Gjirokastër.
