The last of the 13 police officers from the Tirana prison escape Their 9 colleagues were released from prison earlier TIRANA - The January escape this year from unit 313 in Tirana, which resulted in the escape of 20 prisoners, is back in the spotlight. Four of the 13 former prison police officers convicted yesterday, through their lawyer, submitted a request for early release on probation to the Tirana court. Sentenced together to 12 years of imprisonment for violating service regulations, 9 of the 13 convicts are now free.
