Bucharest: The Inter-Parliamentary Union concerned about the “Nano” case
The third parties free - Nano in prison!
A resolution in favor of the imprisoned leader is expected
Ali Spahia is asked to explain the dismissal of Brozi
“How is it possible that Nano continues to be kept in prison, when he was convicted for theft in favor of third parties, whose case has long been dismissed by the Rome prosecutor’s office?” This is the essence of the concern voiced by Zhozë Mejri, president of the Inter-Parliamentary Union during its 94th Conference in Bucharest, where an Albanian delegation also took part. At the week-long meeting of delegations from the parliaments of 119 countries, for two days in a row the “Nano” case was discussed more than ever before. Yesterday a special resolution was also issued, in which, besides this problem, concern is understood to have been expressed about the state of the judiciary in Albania and the dismissal of Brozi.

The huge demand for “black gold” causes turmoil on the Shkodër exchange
After leaving the military unit aside, together with the government villas, they cross the hunting reserve and head toward the mouth of the Buna. Military patrols escort them during passage and unloading. On the Montenegrin side, self-propelled tankers approach. After entering about 800 meters into Albanian waters, they make the connection with plastic pipes. Through them, unloading is faster, thanks to powerful suction pumps.

4 Albanians arrested
They had kidnapped two Italians
Yesterday police managed to discover the place where 4 Albanians, after kidnapping 2 Italians, had kept them isolated for 3 days in a row while demanding a sum of 50 million lire from their families. According to the police, the 4 Albanians were part of a gang specialized in drug trafficking. In their room, police found the irons with which they kept Luixhi Pugliesi, 30, from Cosenza, and Antonio Suma, 35, from a province of Cosenza, tied to the bed. Ammunition was also found in the room. According to the police, the 2 Italians were kidnapped as a result of a debt of 50 million lire. During the period they were held hostage, they were tortured and as a result one of them is in serious condition in hospital. They were released when, two days ago, police in Milan blocked the gang at the moment they were taking possession of the suitcase with the money from a relative of the two kidnapped men. The arrested Albanians are Fatmir Selimaj, 25, Timo Tijevic, 23, Nikolin Xhani, 31, and Arnold Ukaj, 27, all without a stable residence.
Now police are working to identify the full activity of the organized gang.
