4 Albanians arrested

They had kidnapped two Italians Yesterday police managed to discover the place where 4 Albanians, after kidnapping 2 Italians, had kept them isolated for 3 days in a row while demanding a sum of 50 million lire from their families. According to the police, the 4 Albanians were part of a gang specialized in drug trafficking. In their room, police found the irons with which they kept Luixhi Pugliesi, 30, from Cosenza, and Antonio Suma, 35, from a province of Cosenza, tied to the bed. Ammunition was also found in the room. According to the police, the 2 Italians were kidnapped as a result of a debt of 50 million lire. During the period they were held hostage, they were tortured and as a result one of them is in serious condition in hospital. They were released when, two days ago, police in Milan blocked the gang at the moment they were taking possession of the suitcase with the money from a relative of the two kidnapped men. The arrested Albanians are Fatmir Selimaj, 25, Timo Tijevic, 23, Nikolin Xhani, 31, and Arnold Ukaj, 27, all without a stable residence.
