Fatos Nano in Tirana
For two dark evenings, numerous police cars packed with officers brought socialist leader Fatos Nano from Tepelena prison.
Last night, the socialist leader spent the night in Unit 313, where he had been held for a year. Today, former Prime Minister Nano will appear before the public to testify as a witness in the Albanian trials under the French name “Arsidi”. Meanwhile, sources from the SP announced that today there will be gatherings of Nano’s supporters in front of the Tirana Court to greet him, while numerous police sirens patrolled all of Tirana yesterday afternoon. It seems that the rally of 30 July in Tirana’s central square is still fresh in the authorities’ minds.

It will take place in the courtroom of this court at 11:00.
