4 people arrested It was operating as a checkpoint for those fleeing on 15 January, in order to be effective in catching drug distributors. This is what police sources report following the discovery of a quantity of cannabis at the checkpoint set up at the entrance to the city of Bilisht. Four people were in the car inspected by law-enforcement officers; their attempt to traffic the narcotic plant towards Greece failed. The successful episode for the police took place three days ago, when a sack containing around 4 kilograms of cannabis was found in the trunk of a car. All four people, whose names have not been released as the investigation is ongoing, are said to be two from the Korçë district and two others from Devoll.
