Berisha’s supporters are booed KORÇË - On Sunday, an Extraordinary Assembly of the PD was held for the Korçë district. Members of the PD leadership who attended included Chairman Selami and parliamentary group Chairman Ali Spahia. According to inside sources, the Korçë assembly was a total victory for Selami and his line. It was MP Petrika Minga who, by refuting Ali Spahia’s claim that President Berisha had not called for Selami’s dismissal, steered the meeting in a different direction. MP Bari Bregu, the only one along with Ali Spahia representing Berisha’s line, was cut off while speaking from the floor. Meanwhile, Selami’s speech was received with applause. *** ELBASAN - Yesterday, the PD assembly for the Elbasan district was also held. It is worth noting that in this city, too, Selami’s supporters were clearly more numerous.
