Nano: “Berisha, learn my innocence”

The Nano case - Lawyer Sanxhaku, 8 pages sent to the President The 200 pages missing from the “Nano File”, on the head of state’s desk "I sent President Sali Berisha a letter with very detailed legal arguments about the manipulation of the file, about the grounds, and about the innocence of Fatos Nano. I ask nothing of the President. The eight pages of the letter explain all the details of the case, so that tomorrow he will not excuse himself by saying that this is how I was informed." The secrets of this letter, kept secret until now and sent to the Albanian "White House", are revealed to "KJ" by the lawyer of the socialist leader, Mr. Sanxhaku. Sent only at the time of the declaration of the boycott of the final Cassation hearing, which takes place in a week, the letter seems to give the Albanian head of state a chance, now on the eve of the Independence and Liberation holidays. page 2

Against the mad, even God is powerless

We must free ourselves from the evil that has seized us And how can a former prisoner believe that this “anti-genocide” law is made so that his soul can find peace when he sees that it was initiated by a long-serving party secretary, declared constitutional by a judge who sentenced priests to death, supported by a writer like Kadare, who has fed through his works hatred and contempt for the class enemy from the nursery-school teacher Nurihan all the way to the coupist Politburo member B. or by Teodor Laço, whose most admired literary figure is a cow to whom the negative character, the kulak, says: “Eat, oh cow, eat, better you than them”...? The President meets Godo

Green light for the small parties. The President favors the existing electoral law Republican leader Sabri Godo has begun consultations with Berisha on the electoral law. A request made by the chairman of the Albanian Republicans himself two weeks earlier, and accepted by the head of state, has brought together the two main figures of the Albanian right. Only a short time earlier Godo had publicly accused Berisha of abusing the parliamentary majority during the approval of the land law.
