The Bloc men return to prison
"Anti-genocide" - yesterday the third wave of arrests
In cells: Lenka Çuko, Pali Miska, Muho Asllani, Zylyftar Ramizi and Sulejman Bushati
Just 21 days after the first wave of arrests, the number of former senior officials of the former regime has reached 21, and they must now be defended against the charge of Internment-Expulsions, following the denunciation by the Forum of Intellectuals for the Punishment of Genocide. Yesterday was the third round of detentions that led to arrest warrants being issued for three former members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the PPSH, for the man who for years had been Director of the State Security, and also for a former First Secretary of the PPSH in a northern district.
According to the district chief prosecutor, Mr. Adnan Xhelili, they must be investigated and tried because, "while holding high party and state positions, in violation of the Constitution of the time and the laws in force, they ordered the mass internment and expulsion of Albanian citizens for political reasons."

A tram is attacked with a grenade in Sarajevo
The most savage attack since the peace accord
A grenade shell exploded in a tram yesterday in Sarajevo, killing one person and injuring at least 11 others, thus marking the most savage attack since last month’s accord to reinforce peace in Bosnia with NATO troops.
"It was a severe wound. The tram was torn apart and we were all very frightened," says 25-year-old Nexhmi Cuprija, one of the injured.
Several witnesses say that at least ten people took part in the attack with the rocket fired from Serbian positions at 17:30 yesterday toward Sarajevo.
The attack coincided with rising tensions in the Serb-held outskirts of Sarajevo, where they are trying to seize areas that have been left under Bosnian government control.
The flames and the explosion also filled several Serbian neighborhoods of the city, before the separatist troops caused the military zones they had planned to evacuate.
NATO sources say the grenade was launched from Grbavica, territory under Serbian control, toward Muslim areas.

Immigrant arrested
He had killed an Albanian in Germany
TIRANE- He had killed his compatriot in Germany, but was caught in the Albanian capital nearly 7 months after the crime. He is called R.Shehu, 20 years old, the young man who on Saturday ended up in the handcuffs of police station no. 1, following a swift operation. The wanted man was also found with a "Zastava" pistol, with a magazine holding 7 rounds. Serious suspicions weigh on the young man from the capital. He is believed to be the perpetrator of the murder last autumn, in a city in Germany, of G.Balli. Another suspicion also hangs over the 20-year-old’s shoulders: the attempted murder of A.Hoxha. The last incident had happened only a month earlier, but the Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the evidence against the detainee.
