In the elections of 20 October, no political force managed to obtain 50 percent plus one vote, and thus the majority by percentage goes to repeat elections. At a time when almost all Albanian citizens are aligned with the current government - they voted confidence in the government. It must be said that Albanians fundamentally deserve 20 years of dictatorship; they could not choose the opposition line of 10 October, but responded with clownishness in the same position. They did not dare to choose the civic freedom that comes from the free vote. These, after the voting, make up about half of the post-voting total. More than half of that half voted for the PD. Generally, they belong to the state administration, dismissed from work; outside it, the majority are young people. All of them are victims of the war of humiliation and gratitude. These are people who believe that voting for change will bring victory in the future, because for them the current regime of Berisha is the idea; these are young people of the kind who think that “these are the same again” and they, for their part, voted “not only for whom we voted,” they did not dare choose the right path. Unwittingly, they are unreconciled with Berisha’s government, and they voted in a difficult way, but the decision of judgment must emerge from this calm reality. The part that votes in favor comes from that kind of battered stratum that thinks that “they came to manipulate the vote,” or came because of the government’s incapacity. They voted against everyone, like those who wait for their own freedom to be decided. The demonstrators, these are unreconciled with Berisha’s government, and they voted in a difficult way, but the decision of judgment must emerge from this calm reality. The problem of Albanians is to find the clear path. Meanwhile, three hundred thousand voters of the second group did not lower this because of the government’s incapacity.
