Kadria’s diary. Gjallica: another USD 100,000 for the PD

The night before last, “Little” Aleksandri, Meksi, sent out word to the whole world as if his battalions were ready to take the beloved “Dyqinja” with spears—thieving Democratic Democracy. Surely, in the mind of our prime minister, heroic characters have become confused with the comic characters of the greatest wars in the world. For on one of the world’s most prestigious screens, EURONEWS, he said—haltingly—more or less this: “the socialists ask a civil war; we and albanian people are ready”. (The socialists are calling for civil war; we and the Albanian people are ready.) Yesterday the Socialist Party reacted with indignation to this appeal by the prime minister. Nevertheless, he cannot deny it, but kept turning many words about civil war over in his mouth. According to BBC radio, a few days ago in the newspaper Le Monde, the great man of our First One, President Berisha himself, had apparently used the tragic phrase “civil war”. The First Men of the state are calling for civil war, confident that they are bound together on the same front. The latest PD meeting showed that the government is on a common front against the will of the people. They ask us for war just as they ask for a piece of bread. Either these people no longer know what bread is, because they live on the special diet of the rich; or they do not know what civil war is. Or they know both, and meanwhile are plotting disaster just like “the corn basket”. They ask us for war just as they ask for a piece of the vote. They declared the vote, both before and after 26 May, to be the property of the PD. That is how they took it and privatized power. Now, apparently, they think that after the stolen vote, they can also set off a war for us. They ask us for war just as they ask for money for the pyramid schemes. When they saw that “with song and dance on our lips” we gave them the poor man’s little money, they thought we had also given them our souls to put in the cannon’s mouth. That is why neither Alexander the “Great” nor the “Greatest” above the “Great” (I’m afraid the letter “dh” may turn into “rr”) is to blame. We taught them ourselves. A government that has mounted the horse of an adventure in abusing those it governs, going as far as plundering their property house by house, naturally draws its “sword” from its scabbard, even though the people are on foot. When the people are badly taught and do not rein in their own government, naturally they should expect what they are seeing now. When the politics of the Great Ones close their eyes to the fate of the Albanian people because one delegate has bought coal or mud, another is a fellow thief in the Albanian pyramid schemes, and an ambassador has set up shops in Tirana selling rags or flour, then nothing more can be expected. A government of the wor—? (unclear reading) in Albania, when it gets the notion to embark on an adventure, can make its own people bleed and put the region at risk. So things can be even worse than the prime minister’s statement. The worst would be if he were allowed to carry out his statements. But things can also be better. The best thing is for the Albanian people to stop the warmongers, build the government they need, and be governed like all advanced peoples. With a bad government out of office, war too is far away.
