Athens keeps pace with Rome
After the review carried out by Fmne after returning from Rome, after it gave weight to Iran in Greek-Albanian relations, more precisely to manage political links with Europe, seven to improve bilateral relations and move on to a new phase of them. In this context it leaves of special importance the weight of Athens' participation in regional developments and beyond, starting from relations with Cyprus, relations with Turkey and its mediation with Albania. In the last two, the implementation of the decision announced last week, the suspension of Greek visas, was one of the reasons why a high-level Greek delegation arrived in Tirana yesterday. At "Rinas" airport, not only had the chief and Tzovolas arrived, but also other PASOK delegates, as well as a meeting with a status of the government of Albania. Two correspondents also arrived at the airport, one from the Greek news agency and one from the influential daily "To Vima". During the conversation with Prime Minister Fino, the head of Greek diplomacy, Theodoros Pangallos, stressed that Greek-Albanian relations are not inclined to worsen and that Athens wants to improve relations with Tirana. It seems that very soon, before all the problems are solved, there will be an improvement in the climate and some relations may be redefined.
In this context, on Thursday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Theodoros Pangallos, will visit Tirana. This visit comes as a result of several statements that Albanians had been harmed in the neo-Greek scenario or that Albania had an aggressive plan. Meanwhile, there is an effort in official circles to minimize this visit. During yesterday, senior Greek officials made it known that this visit is a duty of the chief diplomat, but has no connection with recent Albanian developments. Athens' envoy in Tirana has been busy with other problems and, as is the case with the situation in southern Albania.
It is asserted that mediators are working to find a diplomatic way to unblock relations. And this will be achieved not only through the visit to Tirana and direct contacts with political personalities of the new government, but also through the normalization of the situation at the border points. An order from the Albanian government to suspend actions against undocumented migrants at the border has been considered in Athens as a positive signal. On the other hand, the Greek declaration for the temporary suspension of visas with Albania, to allow more breathing space in bilateral relations, has been considered an important step.

Elections remained in parliament The new RTSH Council
PS like PD, in charge of TV
The same scenario is happening as used to happen before, but in reverse. The current left-wing government, and more precisely the Nano cabinet, is trying to place at the head of Albanian Television a person who at the same time is a member of a political force. In the latest proposals made by the head of the PS parliamentary group in the parliamentary committee, the two candidacies for the Television governing council have both been militant figures. One of them, Maqo Lakrori, also known in various circles as a figure close to the socialists because of his recent positions, while the other, Perikli Teta, is the General Secretary of the Democratic Alliance party. This is not the first time that the Nano cabinet has openly violated the law on the radio television institution. The head of government did this a few weeks ago during the selection of the general director of Albanian TV, where in that case too a political person was appointed. The latest candidacy presented by the head of the socialist parliamentary group, Fatmir Xhafa, for the council members consists of the economics school lecturer and socialist parliamentary assistant Vjollca Elmazi and the electronics engineer Altin Gjonaj. As the fifth candidate in the commission, the name of Prof. Shkelzen Maliqi was put forward by deputy Leka Zogu. But the latter, among his initiatives in parliament, has not hidden his sympathies for the right-wing forces.
