Corruption in government

For the first time, a senior PS leader admits the accusations weighing on the Nano cabinet Corruption in government Majko: “The denunciation must be made by the Prosecutor’s Office” Page 3 The spark of corruption At yesterday’s PS press conference, Majko said before an unprepared audience and, without beating around the bush, that he wanted to minimize the saga of “Kushi”; for the first time, a senior leader of the Socialist Party and of Albanian politics has turned himself, as the leader of a party in power, into a living embodiment of corruption and the irrationality of the rotten political scene and even the government. In such a situation, where he himself seeks to downplay the administration, it is something common, since in reality the Socialist government has filled the cup with scandalous statements, announcing that it will accept the indicators as real, caught running in the darkness of corruption, with the inevitable involvement of anti-corruption. Majko and other PS secretaries, accompanying the press conference podium, tried to soften matters with a forced calm, saying they wanted to connect the lack of light at the end with unexpected knots in the middle of high-level corruption and the government of Prime Minister Nano, as if they had foreseen that journalists would pour in with a thousand and one questions about corruption affairs. All this would be a second bitter blow for the Nano government, to which doubts and new cases have clearly been added. Although paradoxically, at the moment, no official clear accusation has been directed at this government in hypothetical terms, and some of its senior figures are caught up in lawsuits. These statements may be overly focused in their style on trying to fight off the account, but perhaps in the absence of a steering wheel and brakes for a prime minister emerging from a party crisis that is becoming increasingly burdensome. In fact, for some people in these days have begun to investigate a very broad sum that has spread through the administration and will be difficult to stop in the name of what came before. Nano is once again proposing more change, movement, appointments and new projects than concrete actions by a government that would at least somewhat reduce citizens’ concern. There are warnings in press circles that high-ranking government officials will also be swept up by the scale of this scandal. If a scheme and an account of the Nano government were responsibly clarified, it would be enough for the administration to be equipped with oversight. Thus, taking this tendency into account, the Nano government’s work so far would be somewhat more a failure than a distortion. Secondly, if analyzed calmly, it could be said that the rise in a series of corruption accusations, and the publication of the names of corrupt and accused officials, are factors that truly shake the government’s image. These elements seem formulated from every point of view. Prime Minister Nano himself, the newly imagined scheme of his government, seems to have taken this warning into account consciously, although the delay of many of the accusations still remains. All these tensions are also created by the psychology of standing as a layer that has become involved in the latest developments, but much more as a political class in which no one is in a privileged position before the water.
