Pressure on the leaders of the PS

Ultimatum from Vlora: Roads here, or else go on hunger strike Geographical elections or revolts by socialists in the districts. After Vlora and Berat A coalition in danger BY ANDI BUSHATI Starting from a district with strong anti-Berisha sentiment and characterized as a stronghold of the left, Vlora has begun to show signs of straying from the truth. The new situation has highlighted the distinctive feature of the 21 June elections and clearly reveals that, for the first time, the socialists in these areas are opposing the leadership of their own party. This new trend places the leaders of the PS in a difficult position, because in the name of preserving the left-wing coalition, they have become hostages of the PBDNJ over the names of the candidates. These disputes are not only in Vlora, but also in Berat, Fier, Lezhë and elsewhere. They erupted at a moment when local structures were preparing to enter the contest, while deals were being made at the center over the posts of the elected officials. In this context, the reaction of the socialist base is strong and at times harsh. In Vlora, the PS branch has threatened to go on hunger strike if the candidacy backed by the center is not withdrawn. The pressure from the base on the center aims to force the leaders to reconsider the selection criteria and avoid impositions from allies. This internal conflict risks having consequences for relations within the coalition and creating new splits on the eve of the elections.

From France, testimony about the Deputy Prosecutor General

He asked me for 100 thousand dollars Giza Zheku recounts, after three years, his arrests and the pressure from SHIK agents (P.5) The minister had me arrested; they threw me to the top of the state, with Saliu's script, after the generator voice declared from one of the highest institutions of the state, “The 100-thousand-dollar affair.” I offered them 50 dollars to close the file, but they asked for 100 thousand dollars and, since I refused, they put me in prison. Throughout this period, people from SHIK and the prosecutor's office were used to exert pressure on me and my family. After many years, from France, I am making this testimony public to show how the mechanism of blackmail and fabricated accusations worked. Ciza Zheko recounts, after three years, his arrests and the pressure from SHIK agents.
