Police, special forces and SHIK on alert Page 3 Kosovo's challenge BY JAN BËLTA Today, for the second time, the parliamentary election in Kosovo will be held, from which the hopes of the elected leader and its president Ibrahim Rugova are victorious, and with the formation of the new government the country, otherwise troubled and tense, between Albanians and Serbian authorities is still under the shadow and the Serbian authorities and international leaders make it clear that there has been a change during this time, that solutions will be challenged, and that there has been no public decision in the countries of the world. The author does not see the Kosovars as worried and, in any case, independent of the person and form of this government in Kosovo, but urges measures to wait for and confront their elections and a possible international and Yugoslav destabilization, and the American Congress and several other international organizations have dealt with the concerns regarding Kosovo, but on the other hand in Kosovo, Serbian policy confiscates everything else with 100,000 military forces under the diktat of the LPK, and other voices push Kosovo to begin and arm itself. Precisely to prevent the holding of such elections and the development of tension together with Serbian violence against the population, the authorities of the Kosovar government and its supporters have insisted on their peaceful development. At the same time, free Kosovo and all Albanians demand a final political solution to the crisis. The latest statements and the aggravated situation in Kosovo and the region give even more support to the elections so that they do not tremble and do not become hostages to changes and unrest. Meanwhile, in the previous elections, a significant part of the Kosovar electorate did not turn out to vote because of repression, but by participating in these elections it is showing its conviction to prevent instability and all factors.
