N.K. ATOS LUGONA Just like Dritan Hoxha[?], the government’s “Cyrbabe” with a figure stayed[?] the slander about the fiancée published in “Koha Jonë” exactly one day before he resigned. Arkipi i Shkopo is slandered over his fiancée. No one can blame the prime minister for the individual actions of subordinates. This cannot be a reason to leave the government, despite the public pressure being applied for his removal. If all this were true and there were a network to discredit state leaders, then the people responsible for this scandal should be brought to account, not a minister sacrificed. Instead of turning this into a resignation story, it should be treated as a crisis of responsibility and standards in the administration. The attack is not only personal against the minister’s figure, but also against the government itself and its seriousness. Speculation cannot replace an investigation. If there is evidence, it must come out; if there are fabrications, they must be exposed. Beyond today’s noise, the public expects calm and determination. Resignations demanded by media hysteria are not necessarily the solution. Every minister should be judged by actions, not by gossip. Page 5
