The "forest" of changes
Since the end of last year, Albanian politics and the Albanian domestic public have been adjusting to long statements about governance under the hammer of the clamor for "changes" in the government cabinet. Yes, although recently everything has been done from the side of doubt, trying to give various press names clean and double-faced ramifications. Perhaps we should not be surprised, because there has always been talk of “changes” and of “renewal” of the government cabinet. Then the time for a decision has come and this will be done in today’s government cabinet and in the dimensions that have been implied in today’s political opinion. In the middle of last month, the head of government, Aleksandër Meksi, openly expressed the idea that there could be changes in the government. At that time, the first official statement, on the contrary, had been this: there would be no such changes. In these times, meanwhile, it has become clear that the cabinet changes will have completely different reasons and definitions.
Increasingly reserved after becoming familiar with names circulated for days, with statements made clearly with the tendency not to change the governmental structure, components of this change actively supported such a cabinet; the government should remain as it is and consequently there should not be, since there may be a smaller or larger government, but not a "maneuvering" government and undoubtedly that has existed from the outset. The reactions have been numerous but have been left in the “drawer” while dealing with other things. In these few days it has begun to be articulated in some media circles. Regardless of what politics declares, some are asking that the reasons for removing or keeping certain ministers in government, or finally other names intended to replace their places, be clearly examined. Whatever it is, despite all the chaos that has now been created around this process, and it must in any case be regretted, above all a fear is becoming apparent. And this has to do with the presence of old people, their presence has been such, even in a relationship where "maneuvering" again seems to be emerging very clearly in government. The hopes for change are very few. So, in short, even this question that has been asked in public opinion, as other information begins to be gathered about the names rumored for several government posts, is not linked to the future hope that this government will become fresher, but to a limited expectation that the government will repeat itself.
