Let the criminals be hanged
The punishment should be carried out publicly in the middle of city squares, as in France until the 1960s, or as it is today in America

BY TODOR ROKO
By now, the mention of the straits of “social ruin” has become the gateway through which a part of society tries to justify us, those who think that the main problem of our country has to do with the economy. Without omitting the ruling premise, for all the deeds of existence, that is, why personal insecurity, whether among children or adults, whether in “hell”, should be commanded by Zylyftare Velo, who should later be accused, a part of the limits of people in seeking a solution to this problem do not have the same destination. Instead of urgently calling on certain governmental and non-governmental forces to demand the immediate proclamation of the death penalty, their argument is based on an intermediate position, albeit formulated with extreme sharpness: “All these are paying dearly. There you can see it, and the thoughtful village with one hole, there can you put it?”
The crowd that wants the death penalty treats with cynicism the terrible outburst of turmoil that is coming from one side of human robbery, with assumptions before which the ordinary person gets goose bumps. But a reality comes that not only convincingly explains the urgent need for the death penalty, but also calls into question the place and rank of this measure. The reasoning is this: “If you kill a house thief, as in the case of a girl from Tirana who a few days ago faced debts and weapons with the robbers who entered her house and raped her in turn before her husband’s eyes, every similar thought must be able to operate uninterruptedly in conditions where one must think of a minimum of punitive force, where it should not be squandered, but used harshly.”
And who does not feel that such a stance, justified by a feeling of revolt, has its place? I am not dealing with legal arguments, but with a sensitivity whose roots are deep in the logic of the need to defend oneself. One cannot help seeing that this concern is linked to the effort to restore to the ordinary citizen the belief that the state exists and acts.
The article raises the question of whether the death penalty should be brought back as an extraordinary tool for extraordinary cases and whether it would have a real effect in curbing crime. Faced with this question there is another: is our society so battered that it cannot build any other protective mechanism except public execution?

Italy puts pressure on the Albanian government over the national issue
ITALY/ in Albania's seat
Italy has made it a condition for Albania not to put forward its candidacy for the executive secretary of the Balkan Stability Pact in the name of the Foreign Minister, Dritan Hoxha. Albania learned of this position, at least regarding this matter, from the statement by Dini and the staff of Italian Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema. “Albania, Kosovo’s independence, these are two separate issues,” Dini said, making his political subtext clear to his Albanian counterpart. It was mainly the second part of this message that caused surprise in the Albanian delegation.
One argument that Dini and the Italian government want to influence Albanian political debates is also evident in public statements. After meeting with the Albanian prime minister, Lamberto Dini stated that “Albania has the right to seek support from the international community, but not to support a solution that undermines stability.”
It was also an extremely busy day of meetings and public statements in Tirana for the Italian Foreign Minister. In the evening, he met with senior Albanian political leaders, while during the day he visited several state institutions. There were also comments about Italian investments in Albania and Rome’s official interest in developments in Kosovo.

Incident between police and military yesterday in Durrës over a ship carrying war material
In a clear evening ranking with two. There were also phone calls from Kosovo but with a black hole. Minister of Defence Pellumbi has sent word that these ships were requested as “drang groans” and unloaded at the port of Durrës, but the editor-in-chief became a guard please so that he can continue and explain but the slanders? But Albania has been red of theirs, the government of Kosovo? It is clear that a small day as the following article shows.
Dr. the learned one from the government by order of the government from SHIK-u. In yesterday’s meeting, the secretary general of the Council of Ministers, Niko Felesi, was forced to provide a true clarification as well as from the government directorate. Why? The reason is that they are discharged in the daily scandalous clarification that SHIK-u has alarmed the Minister of Defence and left him and the customs authorities.
It is learned that the head of SHIK-u, Fatos Klosi, yesterday raised in a discussion in the committee for clandestinity and investments in Albania
