Greek politics is unfairly angered with Tirana
The Greek hostage is killed. The Albanian robber is also executed at Qafë-Krrabë
The Greek Interior Minister accuses the Albanian police
Gloomy weather between Albania and Greece
Greek lawyers hostage Greek newspaper that is inside a car with a rail of a day. But, unfortunately, the fierce quarrel and more than terrible with the Albanian-Greek magazine called “For a dialogue of This”, so clearly and visibly for all to live calmly in Greece could have ended in a much more serious conclusion. As a result, the baseless speculations about last night’s event that occurred a few hours ago on the highway toward Athens have not been lacking. The latest communication that the Greek lawyers have killed their hostage indicates the consequence and the cause. It seems that suspicion falls on the Albanian police and even on the police forces. The Greek press and various analysts are calling the Albanian police, the Ministry of the Interior and the Albanian government responsible for the killing of the hostage. Everything seems to be playing on the passions of part of Greek public opinion against Albanians. As a result, there are also no shortage of baseless speculations linking it to the arrival of several Greek deputies in Albania for a visit. If there is still a deterioration of relations between the two countries, responsibility falls not only on the Albanian robber, but also on those who are fanning the flames with hasty accusations. The deputy speaker of parliament only a few hours earlier declared that this case would be clarified. Meanwhile, last night it was learned that the Greek negotiating team suspects that other interested circles are also involved in this case in order to push the situation to the brink of escalation. As for the testimony of the hostage’s brother, he asks the Albanian police to tell the full truth. But in Albania this episode is seen differently: the armed group’s aim was to take a hostage in order to cross into Greece, and the Albanian police intervened to prevent the escape. According to recent sources, the negotiations had failed and special forces were involved in the operation. In this grim climate, the last word belongs to the official investigations.
