Scorching October for the Socialists
The public statement by Deputy Minister Meta that “Majlind will be prime minister and the sharp autumn will kill Mërles Reagan as much anti-government as liberalized”, by the editorial panel of the pink headquarters organ, through the flamboyant “Mërles Reagan as much anti-government as liberalized”, seems to have been produced under the collective iron of the socialist leadership at the head of government. We have reached the episode of the next relay from the party in government and in the government of the party on the eve of a new electoral campaign. The current PS is a party in great trouble, but in the face of a personal meeting with leading figures of the opponents. Although this is a characteristic that should point toward agreement, it has entered conditions of survival. This disagreement carries within it the decadence of a politics which, in its anarchy, seeks to build itself on secret references to a responsible choice and, on the other hand, on extremist exits.
From everything that has been said and overlooked by the public, it is clear that placing the PS and its allies in the role of a future opposition will be a difficult process. In the latest editorial, a new interpretation of internal developments has been suggested, but this still cannot amount to a program. By now, their governance has entered the zone where every mistake costs not only the party, but society as well. For this reason, the rhetoric of recent days seems more like an alarm than a platform. The scorching of October is the metaphor for the crisis of a political family that has lost its calm and its compass.
If there could be a way out of this situation, it would require more than name substitutions and propagandistic declarations. It would require a return to responsibility, institutional seriousness, and respect for the public. But the signs so far do not support this optimism. The Socialists seem to be entering a hot season, not because of the weather, but because of their internal clashes and their loss of control over the public narrative.

According to data published yesterday, 97 hotspots of massacred houses have been identified throughout Kosovo.
The British Defence Minister, Andy Phipps[?], while observing yesterday the first massive reconnaissance sortie by NATO forces, said that the aerial images are shocking. “What we are seeing are entire villages burned down and a clear sign of the scale of ethnic cleansing,” he said.
