This is the latest reason for the American administration, which considers the presentation of governance and the escalation of the situation in Kosovo to be wrong and illegal. Under pressure from international envoys, including senior U.S. state officials who have come to our country these days, the Berisha administration is being challenged by several Western countries. In the current position, this government must have transparency, order and institutions. The opposite would bring further consequences and problems. We consider these necessities in the fight against corruption to be a central element of our position. Supported by the latest data, the issue of the opposition’s withdrawal from a policy of blockages and zigzags is being raised. This is important not only for its opponents, but also for all Albanian society. In public opinion, these events are seen as evidence of growing mistrust toward the leadership. This situation was also reflected in the fact that, during the escalation of events in Kosovo, the government had a considerable number of weak ties with decision-making centers. For the country’s outlook, including the State Department, this is a troubling signal.
