Berisha's imminent arrest expected

The shadows of the Nano-Meta conflict
BY EL LESI
The crisis, seen two or three times in Rinas, with Prime Minister Meta and the PS chairman Nano during this period, has had figures casting each other's shadow. If we look back at the most interesting moments and the recent victories in the struggle of strength between the two leaders, we can say that this naturally has left a certain cost, perhaps to the former last leader. Speaker of Parliament Ilir Meta has extended his hand to strengthen it to some extent with the help of his people. In fact, the self-appointed dictator Meta took control of the government, and as you know, the situation is now completely different. PS chairman Nano simultaneously holds the party title and the historical leadership of the left, but he also controls all local government institutions. Given that Nano is a strong politician, Meta may find it difficult to sideline him. Traces of disagreements within the government leadership have been visible since Kastriot Islami left the post of deputy prime minister. Although it was officially said that his departure was due to a lack of correctness in relation to the work of government, given that at the time Ilir Meta was at the head of the socialist forum and the government reform, this move was seen as revenge. Nano and Meta have often moved through indirect insinuations against each other. Nano and Moisiu[?] have been in a silent conflict that has affected the balance within the party. Given that in February 2000 and beyond the chances for a complete reconciliation are slim, relations remain cold.

Berisha and Poçi face each other again
On Sunday, 20 February, the Democrats will fill Skanderbeg Square
, and tomorrow they will hold the season's strongest political protests. The opposition bloc is expected to bring Berisha to the capital, where some of the activists will gather to hear the speeches and confront the security forces. Sources close to the police have stated that the forces have been placed on alert. The opposition's goal, according to the sources, is to show that it still has popular support. Likewise, a new confrontation between Berisha and Poçi[?] has been discussed, if political tensions reach their peak. Behind the scenes, political negotiations and protest preparations continue.
