By Enkel Demi Mitrovica remains the Achilles’ heel of the Balkans. The serious situation there has put at risk the calm that has existed so far in Kosovo under the occupiers. It has given a major advantage to the chief Serbian criminals. In love with the police, supposedly an explosion has taken place. The accounts of the massacre of the Albanians. In the end, the well-sealed wound of Mitrovica, as it seems, remains a time bomb for every movement in Kosovo. Beyond that, in Mitrovica everyone, like the Albanians, has and will have enemies. At least that is what the statements of Albanian and local politics show. Both the Albanian government and Kosovo politics showed nervousness like anyone else who waits in suspense. The latest example is the statements and nervous slips of the Kosovo protagonists. This makes Albania’s role even more important, as a factor of peace. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the entire political spectrum in Tirana is busy with an electoral battle and within it it seems that no one is dealing with Kosovo. While Kosovo politics is quite confused, the stages of this conflict could worsen, from the vicious plan to the permanent Italian one. It has fallen into second place. Shaken by the events, seemingly trying to calm things down, the President of the Republic, Rexhep Meidani, without wanting to speak from across the Adriatic, said that the meeting was joint. At this moment the problem is how to stop this process and achieve calm in Mitrovica and then a restoration of order in Kosovo. The problem is now bigger and will require Albanians to stabilize the whole of Kosovo as fully as possible. From what is written in the world press, Mitrovica remains an important moment to measure the pulse and reactions of the entire Balkans, so it is a test. From what is happening there and here, it seems that in Kosovo the risk of dirty play is increasing. Under these conditions everyone must react responsibly. Who will decide this summons?
