Berisha: “We will crush the heads of the socialist men”
It seems that after returning from Vienna, Berisha would be somewhat more restrained, but with the new “war” against the socialists in power, Berisha surprised everyone. In the middle of the square, in front of the crowd, Sali Berisha called for the forceful destruction and abuse of the socialist predecessors. According to statements made before hundreds of sympathizers in the square, the Democratic leader, amid noise and confusion, said the words “Put your boys on guard and come at us with motorcycles” and then “we will crush the heads of the socialist men.”
The reason for this fury was the refusal to let him speak at the presidency meeting and the harsh day of statements against him. This angered Berisha, but also forced him to call for destruction against the socialists as a means to prevent Thursday?!.
In the extended interview that will be published today in the newspaper “Koha Jonë”, the American ambassador in Tirana, Joseph Limprecht, gives clear views on the Albanian political crisis. He says that behind every OSCE position stand the USA. Mr. Limprecht further adds that Albanian leaders should stay together more and reach a compromise for an amendment in accordance with the Constitution. He expresses his concern about the political language in Albania.
