Himara, the second national alliance
Instead of the Greek Parliament meeting to abolish the war law with Albania, it meets to destroy relations
On 2 March 1444, Skanderbeg’s alliance against the Turks, while on 15 October 2000 the second alliance against the Greeks, who wanted to occupy the Albanian area of Himara

The provocation called Himara
BY MARTIN LEKA
When the local elections have ended and when the political official has taken on the role of a triumphant victor, Albanian politics calms down. But the chaos, pressure, analysis and other maze-like twists, the replacement of justice with answers and the duel of words, do not leave Himara alone. It was a coincidence the day before yesterday: it was a symbolism of the effort to profit from the fact that the local government would lose again this time. This is because half of Himara’s voters still find it hard to get out of the tangled knots of the PBDNJ. Without going into the motives of this radical move by the PBDNJ, why did it not fail here and the media scoop was accompanied by this media entourage through all means of mass and electoral communication. Himara became the name for more than one abuse of facts, politics, lies, and even worse, vulgar politics.
It is still a name that Albanian politics got angry about because it was clear what they were doing [?]. If they were otherwise, the name would be no less. Why should it have been left so, as the case was mentioned? It was mocking because they discovered that the Greeks would be equally determined, both in Himara and in Kavaja and Delvina. And finally the radical wing of the PBDNJ why did it not fail here and the media scoop was accompanied by all means of mass and electoral communication. Himara became the name for more than one abuse of facts, politics, lies, and even worse, vulgar politics.
Himara became the center of politics, closed to them in this district, and the inclination, which we in general must see as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our country. Everyone knew that the noise of “Vorio Epir” is about Himara. But also the opinion of the analyst, that the language of compromise is weak[?], not only analysts, but also public opinion in general has been convinced that the “Himara precedent” was the step that tested the strength of this provocation. And as if it had not happened for the second mandate.
