THE HISTORIC WILL OF THE ALBANIANS TO DECIDE THEIR OWN FUTURE

THE HISTORIC WILL OF THE ALBANIANS TO DECIDE THEIR OWN FUTURE

Time works for the Albanian cause

Time works for the Albanian cause — Kosovo declared its independence on 2 July 1990 on the basis of 150 delegates after the referendum, and despite the pressure of a savage Serbian regime its government was formed. Soon the first parliamentary elections will be held, from which Kosovo's government will emerge. Fully aware of the scale of the elections in Kosovo, we are convinced that Kosovo's independence will be its future. — Before the Soviets were occupied by the Nazis, their policies had made it clear that there would be no kind of autonomy for the countries of Eastern Europe. The Nazi occupation turned everything upside down, but Central Europe too could no longer come under the control of such a regime. The countries of Eastern Europe managed to escape Soviet influence, but time works for the Albanian cause. — In moral terms Europe has already recognized the right of Albanians to be free. The strength of our right is tied to its respect by everyone. The Albanian cause is just, and time works for it.

Should politicians' files be opened?

TO A DECISION OR NOT? SHOULD IT BE KEPT QUIET? TO COMPLAIN AND TO PROFIT! [?] Should politicians' files be opened? TO A DECISION OR NOT? SHOULD IT BE KEPT QUIET? TO COMPLAIN AND TO PROFIT! [?] After such a scandal, no one can ever be indifferent. If a politician has collaborated with a condemnable regime, the public has the right to know it. But it is just as true that files can also be used for blackmail, revenge and manipulation. That is why opening them requires law, transparency and responsibility. In a democratic state, public morality and citizens' right to know cannot conflict with the truth. The truth must come out. (continued on page 2)
