The aim of the PS: LOCAL SUSPENSION WITH 500 CONDITIONS!

The aim of the PS: LOCAL SUSPENSION WITH 500 CONDITIONS! A request for a resignation, a technical government, a kind of federation, and many other things is noisily announced. The latest request of the socialist opposition is that of a “local suspension” with 500 conditions. In this framework, numerous political and public statements have been made, aiming at blocking reforms and creating a climate of tension. The socialists seek a solution which, in essence, resembles a temporary halt to the political and institutional process. The article treats this position as an attempt to preserve influence in the local administration and to avoid political responsibilities. The author then presents arguments about the role of the opposition, the need for cooperation, and the necessity of reforms.

The halting of unauthorized construction and the establishment of a new urban planning order are being accompanied by projects for housing apartments. Waiting for the Socialist congress or the congress ...

Thus, we note that we proposed a kind of compromise variant to the socialists, but apparently they do not care for compromise. They care only for pressure, loud declarations and the internal calculations of their congress. Much will depend on what happens in the leading forums of this party, whether there will be clarity or new clashes. In this sense, not only a formal congress is expected, but a test of their ability to move beyond the rhetoric of conflict.

Kurban Bayram, a holiday for everyone

The absence of the People's Assembly, representatives of social strata, teachers, young people and intellectuals. But in this religious ceremony there was no lack of representatives of political forces, mainly from the Republican Party, the Socialist Party, and the Social Democratic Party. Together they wished the believers well on this marked day, with the hope that this small kurban of the symbolism of sacrifice would be a good omen for Albania. On behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Sali Berisha, the greeting was conveyed by Mr. Ylli Vejsiu, adviser to the President. The second part of the ceremony continued with the reception for the occasion. Among the guests were representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, personalities of culture and art, deputies and journalists. Even though representatives of the government were absent at this celebration, the greetings were warm and testified to mutual respect.
