Në qytetet shqiptare njeriu nuk mund të vishej si të donte, nuk mund të kishte në shtëpi asgjë moderne, nuk mund të blinte një televizor pa mik, ndërsa frigoriferi ishte luks. Sot këto plagë nuk janë zhdukur, por ka nisur përpjekja për t'i kuruar ato. Populli ynë është i lodhur nga mashtrimet e socialkomunistëve. Ai e di mirë se kush e solli vendin në këtë gjendje. In Albanian cities a person could not dress as they wished, could not have anything modern at home, could not buy a television without connections, while a refrigerator was a luxury. Today these wounds have not disappeared, but an effort has begun to heal them. Our people are tired of the lies of the social-communists. They know well who brought the country to this condition. Nelle ultime riunioni dei presidenti del PD è apparso chiaro che in molti distretti si tenta di diffondere l’idea che l’ordine democratico abbia portato al paese solo povertà e caos, sebbene l’economia sia stata degradata dal governo precedente durante i suoi 45 anni di dominio. Poiché anche alcuni quotidiani stranieri si occupano del “fallimento dell’Albania”, riteniamo necessario chiarire ancora una volta al pubblico, attraverso dati concreti. Ma per 45 anni ogni famiglia albanese ricevette mais, riso, olio, zucchero, sapone ecc. con la tessera. Oppure il nostro popolo non ha forse mangiato carne con la tessera? Oppure ha dimenticato che non aveva il diritto di bere un bicchiere di latte? E il governo precedente ha forse risolto i problemi dei pensionati? Oppure non è vero che le nostre famiglie vivevano in una stanza in affitto, perfino con altre famiglie, senza acqua potabile? E perché non dire che centinaia e centinaia di giovani famiglie non avevano alcuna speranza di alloggio? Nelle città albanesi una persona non poteva vestirsi come voleva, non poteva avere in casa nulla di moderno, non poteva comprare un televisore senza conoscenze, mentre il frigorifero era un lusso. Oggi queste piaghe non sono scomparse, ma è iniziato uno sforzo per curarle. Il nostro popolo è stanco delle menzogne dei socialcomunisti. Sa bene chi ha portato il paese in questa condizione.
