PK-PP-PS 52 years of corruption and crime
The time has come for the authors of the voluminous book of red corruption to answer before the law—
-The leadership of the PS is defending corruption and immorality-
-Kastriot Islami and all the socialist scientists cannot erase Fatos Nano’s tracks and signatures in the field of corruption-
We are saying nothing new, unexpected or sensational if we call today’s PS, the continuation and worthy representative of the PK and PP, synonymous with political and financial corruption. Corruption in this party has roots—or foundations of granite, gouged out from the day it was born, ever since the act of placing at its head the man chosen by Belgrade, Enver Hoxha. Like a monstrous bastard of his own nation, like a demon of evil, demagoguery, hypocrisy and manipulation, he made ruthless and vile compromises with the highest and most sacred national interests, with the ideals, dreams, wishes and hopes of the Albanian people, with their struggle, sacrifices, lives, blood and sweat, blindly and with unprecedented violence carrying out the Yugoslav plan to perpetuate the national division of the Albanians, and to leave European Albania, in terms of socioeconomic development, at the level of the most backward African countries, so that it would remain an easy morsel for the Yugoslav chauvinist, voracious throat to swallow.
To achieve these aims, among other things, he used the country’s economic and financial ruin, robbing Albanian families and the state treasury of dozens of tonnes of gold and large quantities of foreign currency, colossal funds obtained from the extremely high rate of exploitation of Albanian workers, who were paid perhaps less than anywhere else and at a truly laughable level. Where did these rivers of gold and sweat go, or in which banks and tunnels were they hidden?
Enver Hoxha, who left behind a mountain of books in which he did not forget to describe at length banalities or immoral farces, took care that not a single trace or sign of these deeds and calamities involving the national wealth should remain, and that even the eyewitnesses who had been used merely as porters for the mechanical movement of these assets should disappear. But he left many close associates and eyewitnesses alive, such as Ramiz Alia, Nexhmije Hoxha, Sulo Gradeci, Adil Çarçani, Manush Myftiu, Rita Marko, Hekuran Isaj, Simon Stefani, Qirjako Mihali, Aranit Çela... They know a great deal and have much to say, for they enjoyed the privilege of entering—with Zeus’s approval—even places where the sun does not shine.
A good part of the European legacy, in terms of financial value or experience in the art of corruption, was bequeathed to Fatos Nano’s PS. Thanks to this old school, his innate talent and his ability to apply creatively the theory and practice of his great professors, he decided to tread untrodden paths as well, and to commit deeds that would remain in the red book of Communist-Socialist corruption. He did everything possible to exploit to the maximum, for himself, his clan and his party, the gifts of fate that made him prime minister and chairman of the PS. Armed with the specter of the third Zeus of the Albanian social-communists, he rushed headlong into the swamp of red corruption, without seeing or thinking that he was sinking up to his neck, and that one day the sun of democracy would dry it out and leave him like a fish on dry land. With the signatures, stamps and full backing of Adil Çarçani and Fatos Nano, among others, doors and windows were opened to the phantom, Mafia-like company “Iliria Holding”. It sought and tried to spread its spiderweb throughout Albania, never forgetting its obligations to those who had given it the green light to enter poor Albania, where, nevertheless, fabulous and unchecked profits could be made. “The circle comes round by eating,” as the people say. Dozens of millions of dollars in aid from the Italian government for Europe’s poorest and most undernourished people became a rich mine for huge profits. The Albanian Communist-Socialist Mafia chose as its partner a company well known in Italy for corruption, “Levante-CO”. And according to Mafia arithmetic, two parts ended up in the pockets of the Albanian and Italian Tano Carridis, while the remaining part was left to appease the people’s hunger. To draw a parallel from medical practice, this is like stealing from a dying patient the serum or blood administered to save his life.
Yesterday, in Parliament, during the interpellation by Mr. Blerim Çela, a whole body of facts and documents was presented, laying bare Fatos Nano’s record of rare deeds and calamities on the corruption front.
He tried, himself or through his loyal followers, to deny it, to feign innocence like a baby, and to counterattack by raising a sandhill of allegations about corruption by the one-year-old democratic government before the mountain ranges of 52 years of Social-Communist corruption.
But neither the scientist Kastriot Islami nor any other socialist alchemist will be able to erase the tracks of Social-Communist government corruption, or conceal it from the eyes of the people and honest, idealistic socialists.
Anyone who has become soiled in the swamp of corruption should cleanse themselves in the powerful shower of democratic laws.
