On the contrary, our response has been and will always be firm. For this we have become, and are becoming, an example in respecting democratic rules and in preserving public calm. This has been and remains a special merit of the Democratic Party and its government. This clan has never distanced itself from dictator Enver Hoxha. The Democratic Party has an undisputed reputation in the country, with strong international support. We are for a foreign policy that is not aggressive, but for a measured policy against the Serbian aggressor. ... with 65 percent of the votes, it was the greatest political victory that democracy has achieved in these two years. A delegation of the European Democratic Union, led by Mr. Godfrey Verner, adviser for BDI in the European Parliament, led by Mr. Godfrey Verner, having consulted with several deputies of the PDSH and the government, arrived in Tirana on Friday evening.
