Democracy is freedom, it is space for giving the opportunity to act… Last week, the chairman of the PDSH, Mr. Vehbi Alimuçaj, as part of the visits he requests, and also of the meetings with the structures of his party, together with the vice- chairman, Mr. Saliami, and with the vice-chairman of the Committee of the Christian Democrats, Mr. Sami Rrepishti, held a meeting with representatives of the intellectual class in the town of Pogradec. The Christian Democrats of this district from the very beginning of the life of this party have tried to strengthen and consolidate its structures. Separated from PPD, this political force is now trying to find its own political identity, further reinforcing the role it should have in the political future of our country. On 17 May, the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Aleksandër Meksi, will depart for a two-day visit to Greece, which will take place at the invitation of the Prime Minister of that country, Mr. Konstandin Micotaqis, official service. During this visit he will have meetings with various personalities of the Greek government. The Prime Minister will return to Albania. KORÇË AND ALBANIA SIGN THE TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP AND COOPERATION The President of Macedonia, Kiro Gligorov, who arrived in Korçë, during the conversation with his interlocutor at the table of cooperation for the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, said that bilateral cooperation helps in bilateral relations, as well as in strengthening peace and stability in the region. Mr. Gligorov emphasized that the talks would be held in a spirit of trust and in the interest of future relations among neighbors.
