Namik Dokle ON THE WRONG ANTI-NATIONAL PATH
Flag-bearer of lies and deception. He lies in Vlorë, he lies in Berat, he lies in Parliament, he lies to the world... A man who for the fourth time kills Albanians - 2 presidential votes for one of the anti-national declarations - the violator of freedom of speech wants to rehabilitate dictatorship.
Flag-bearer of lies and deception. -He lies in Vlorë, he lies in Berat, he lies in Parliament, he lies to the world... -A man who for the fourth time kills Albanians - 2 presidential votes for one of the anti-national declarations - the violator of freedom of speech wants to rehabilitate dictatorship. Once again in the role of a presidential hopeful, the newly elected socialist deputy Namik Dokle has appeared this time as an anti-president. In an article published in the Italian daily “Il Popolo”, in its issue of 8 May, this figure, known for his anti-national stances and for his whole life as a collectivized servant of the communist regime, may even have surpassed himself. Referring to the events of recent times in Albania, he has appeared with open anger and hatred toward the democratic forces and especially toward the President of the Republic, in an attempt to justify before foreign opinion the political and moral defeat of the Albanian left. In this article, Namik Dokle tries to portray the situation in the country as complete anarchy and the democratic government as the author of the persecution of the opposition. But the facts are stubborn and expose his purpose: the discrediting of the Albanian state and of the institutions born of the free vote. He fears pluralism, he fears free elections, and he fears historical truth. For this reason he returns to the old language of communist propaganda, a language that Albanians have rejected with their vote and with sacrifice. Namik Dokle speaks of violence, but forgets the violence of the system he served devotedly. He speaks of freedom, but forgets that he was among those who trampled freedom for decades. He speaks of democracy, but only when it serves the narrow interests of his political group. This attack of his on the president and on the Democratic Party is nothing other than the continuation of a long-standing line against Albanian national interests. He aims to create confusion in international opinion and to feed doubts about Albania's democratic path. But Albanians know very well who brought the country to this difficult situation and who is trying to get it out of it. They also know who killed their hopes four times: once with dictatorship, once with the deception of reform, once with pluralist hypocrisy, and now with international slander. (Continues on page 4)
RECEPTION AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Yesterday at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, around 7:00 p.m., parliamentarians from the PDSH group came for a courtesy visit. During this meeting, problems concerning the implementation of political and economic reforms, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between the two parties, were discussed. Mr. Sali Berisha, President of the Republic, greeting those present, emphasized that the clear stance of the Democratic Party toward democratic processes has contributed to the country's stabilization and to Albania's integration into Europe. The discussions also dealt with issues related to regional relations and the outlook for democratic developments in the country.
OLTION BARDHI
We are far away. The power that the left seems to possess, and does not break its chest or the power of its own, is shown in the words it is putting out with so much spirit and will. And for what? To appear likable before those who support it out of interest and to throw sand in the eyes of those who do not yet know it. In his article, he tries to cover with refined words the bitter truth of ties to the past. Albania does not need lessons from those who left it sunk in misery and isolation. Today the country needs clarity, moral and political responsibility, and support for the democratic course. Namik Dokle and those like him cannot stop this road with statements and propagandistic noise. (Continues on page 4)

Apparently the greatest fame in Nano's life will be the prime minister's chair from which the miners brought him down. (Continues on page 4)
Who actually brought in, supported and protected Hajdin Sejdia?
Fatos Nano with friends...
These are shown very clearly by the documents published today and in the coming days.
