On relations between PSH and NATO TIRANA Regarding the relations of PSH and Albania with the North Atlantic Assembly, Mr. Servet Pëllumbi, chairman of PSH, received yesterday in his office Mr. Williamson, secretary of the North Atlantic Assembly. Mr. Selami, chairman of PDSH, informed the guest about the activities of PDSH, the political and economic reforms carried out in our country, and its active support for the process of democratization in the country. Emphasizing the PDSH platform for the development of Albanian society through profound democratic reforms, he highlighted the firm orientation of PDSH toward Albania’s membership in the great Euro-Atlantic family and especially toward cooperative ties with NATO. In this context, various possibilities for deepening these relations were also discussed, especially the opening of a NATO information office in Tirana. Mr. Williamson expressed to Mr. Selami his appreciation for the role of PDSH as the main political force of the Albanian opposition and as an important factor for the country’s stability and democratic outlook. Afterwards, Mr. Williamson, accompanied by the Secretary General of PDSH, Mr. Aleksandër Meksi, visited the city of Berat, expressing his interest in becoming closely acquainted with Albanian realities.
