RTPSH made an impressive, but of course insufficient, effort to celebrate Albanian song, valuing it on the basis of stage competition criteria. The great spectacle of the final evenings of this Albanian year was prepared with modern organization, although with many shortcomings in its execution. The stage set up in the Palace of Congresses, where the singers performed their songs, was lit with powerful effects and with appropriate scenery. The participation of the singers, presenters and the orchestra was a clear indicator that in Albania new possibilities are being created to give Albanian art a more dignified face. However, the program had delays, weak moments and a noticeable lack of television rhythm. In some parts the stage direction seemed uncertain, while the connection between the musical numbers often did not work as it should have. The jury, made up of well-known names in music, tried to maintain a balance between tradition and new contributions. The competing songs brought a variety of motifs, from lyrical ballads to faster modern rhythms. Some of the performers stood out for professionalism, others for lack of experience. The audience followed this event with interest, while Albanian television once again tried to prove that it can organize an event on a national scale. Despite the shortcomings, the festival remains an important sign of our musical culture in a difficult period of transition.

During a ceremony held in Lezhë, several teachers with special contributions to education were honored. The local authorities recognized their many years of work and the role they have played in educating generations. In the remarks of greeting, it was emphasized that the Albanian school needs dedicated figures and a more dignified treatment of teachers.
