NANO: “WANTS” TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT FROM HIS CELL
-Pretext?: "The Nano case"-
Other organizational and propaganda activities linked to the implementation of the latest order of the PDSH Coordinating Council for the Korçë district were the most complete reflection of the demonstration organized on Monday in the prefecture center.
Naturally, such a thing could not fail to attract the attention of public opinion and the media. This was also evident in the question asked yesterday by Mr. Bashkim Kopliku at the regular meeting of the PDSH parliamentary group, a question in which the leaders of the campaign штаб in Korçë were asked for their reasoned opinion on this action against the background of relations with the opposition in Parliament.
Mr. Këlliçi, on behalf of the leadership group of the campaign in the Korçë district, stated that the entire spectrum of the organization and conduct of the demonstration in the city center was linked to a scenario which, in the final analysis, aimed at the further destabilization of the country. He pointed out that the obstructive and hindering policy of the opposition, expressed in various ways for over a year now, both legalized and illegal, through protests and unconstitutional statements, and through the misuse of the parliamentary tribune, had recently reached its peak.
"The Assembly of Lezhë was the final act for the public proclamation of PDSH’s determination to continue resolutely the process of democratizing the country. Precisely for this reason, the escalation of destructive activity by the opposition in recent weeks would have two basic aims: first, to stop the preparatory procedures for the National Council meeting in Lezhë. Second, to create further premises to sabotage the work of this forum by shifting the attention of public opinion and the international factor away from the key points of this meeting."
At the center of the destabilizing scenario of recent weeks, according to Mr. Këlliçi, was the climax of the pressure campaign against the figure of the majority leader. This became evident in the unprecedented attacks by the left-wing press and the opposition against President Berisha, in the alleged denunciations by former president Alia in the foreign press, as well as in the visible presence of a not inconsiderable number of left-wing figures in Athens and Ioannina, all pushing in the same direction.
Beyond this, Mr. Këlliçi made it known that the scenario saw as its main link the so-called "Nano case," to which extraordinary attention was being given by the opposition press. According to him, by using Nano as a card to pressure the government and institutions, the aim was to create the impression that the government had lost control of the situation and was sliding toward criminalization. This would serve as a pretext for harsher political action and for inciting crowds to protest.
From this perspective, he stressed that the movements, statements and contacts of opposition structures with the outside world cannot be understood outside the framework of a broader plan to create an atmosphere of tension and clashes. Instead of cooperating on reforms, the opposition was using all means to create an atmosphere of distrust, which directly harmed the country's stability.
In the end, it was emphasized that the democratic forces will remain committed to the reform course and that any attempt to overthrow the constitutional order, regardless of its source, will receive the appropriate political and institutional response.
Support for PD is increasing more and more
The National Activists of the Democratic Party met
Faced with any sign of distortion of the truth and of events, PDSH has always known how to stand on the side of the country's interests and of democratic reforms. The growing support for it is an expression of citizens’ trust in its political course.
Further on in his speech, the rapporteur stressed that the activity of the party structures is intensifying throughout the country and that the involvement of the grassroots membership is an indicator of the further consolidation of this political force. In many districts, meetings, consultations and work analyses have been held in order to increase organizational effectiveness.
During the discussions, the need to strengthen ties with the electorate, improve public communication, and unmask the propaganda of political opponents was emphasized. The importance of internal party discipline and respect for the decisions of the forums was also highlighted.
The national activists assessed that, in the face of the current challenges, PD must present itself as a factor of stability and a guarantee for the continuation of economic and institutional reforms. The words of the participants expressed optimism and readiness to face the upcoming political battles.
The tragedy of Albanian socialists
The last of the queue, comrade of Gramoz Ruci, newly presiding over the democratization of socialism and the responsibilities of the generation, was inflamed by Marxist zeal to exonerate Nano from the grips of the court and to accuse the Deputy Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Socialist Party of alleged logical and moral inconsistencies in Fatos Nano’s positions.
It was clear that if we were listening to these arguments, in fact they belonged to a past period and served more to obscure than to clarify public opinion. At their center was the attempt to present the internal debate of the socialists as the result of outside injustices, while in reality the crisis stemmed mainly from the very nature of their political organization and leadership.
In this framework, the author mocks the ideological language used by some Socialist Party figures and points out that their clashes are neither accidental nor merely personal. They express a lack of vision, a struggle for power, and an inability to break away from the old political legacy.
Ultimately, the tragedy of Albanian socialists is presented as the tragedy of a force that has still not managed to reform itself at its core and that, whenever the question of responsibility arises, tries to find culprits outside itself.
The PS’s destabilizing strategy is destined to fail
-Declaration by the PD parliamentary group-
The left-wing extremists are insistently returning to their revolutionary proposals in order to achieve, by any means and at any cost, the country’s departure from the path of democratic reforms. Their efforts to heighten political tension and incite destabilization have become even more evident after a series of failures in parliamentary and public confrontations.
Their propaganda and actions, according to the declaration, have nothing in common with the interests of the country, but rather with the aim of sabotaging democratic processes. By exploiting every opportunity to distort reality and create panic, they seek to undermine citizens’ trust in the institutions.
The declaration points out that, despite the PS’s efforts to instrumentalize discontent and portray the situation as hopeless, the path of reforms will continue. The PD parliamentary group expresses its conviction that the majority of Albanians support stability and democratic transformations.
The declaration ends with a call for all political actors to distance themselves from the language of hatred, from threats, and from any attempt to replace democratic debate with pressure and political blackmail.
Scouting will ensure quality in preschool age
The mission of scouting is to influence the civic formation of young people through discipline, a sense of responsibility, and practical education. It helps create useful life skills and encourages a spirit of service to the community.
In the conditions of Albanian society in transition, such a movement is seen as necessary to prepare the younger generation with democratic values and healthy social behavior. Organizing outdoor activities, teamwork, and respect for rules serve as a school of character.
Supporters of this model stress that scouting is not only entertainment, but a way of education oriented toward individual and collective responsibility. It draws young people away from passivity and engages them in positive activities.
In conclusion, it is expressed with conviction that the spread of scouting will have a significant impact on the quality of preschool education and on the growth of formative care for younger ages.
The Assembly of Lezhë is relevant for Albanians of all times
-From the speech delivered at the dinner in Ishull-Lezhë, on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the Assembly of Lezhë-
Today, 2 March marks a historic 550th anniversary for Albanians. At the same time, it reminds us of and invites us to reflect on some of the most significant moments in our national history. The Assembly of Lezhë, which united the Albanian princes under the leadership of Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu, remains one of the most important events in our historical and political consciousness.
It showed that, in the face of danger and major challenges, Albanians have known how to set aside divisions and unite around the ideals of freedom and the defense of the homeland. Precisely this message of unity and historical responsibility still retains all of its value today.
In today’s Albania, as the country tries to build democratic institutions and move forward on the path of reforms, the memory of the Assembly of Lezhë remains a source of inspiration. It teaches us that national unity, political responsibility, and determination in the face of danger are essential conditions for the country’s progress.
Lezhë and the name of Skënderbeu are not only part of our past glory, but also reference points for the present and the future. By remembering this great event, we honor not only our ancestors but also the duty we have toward the generations to preserve and strengthen our national identity.
