Not only to be hidden On Sunday, 20.2.1994 at 10:15 in the "Kombinat" neighborhood, citizen Shanë Ajeti, a teacher by profession, was shot dead with a firearm. At the scene, a filter cigarette and a burned "Lada" vehicle were also found. Based on the initial procedural investigative actions, the examinations and expert analyses carried out, as well as statements from individuals, it is suspected that this murder was committed by the following persons: 1 - Azuzar O[?]muti, from the village of Griqan in Gjirokastra, working at the electricity transmission-distribution enterprise. 2 - Niko Tela, from the village of Leshnicë e Sipërme in Saranda, working at the fishing enterprise. 3 - Maksim Bufi, from the Partizani neighborhood of Gjirokastra, unemployed. 4 - Vangjel Totoni, from the "Pazari" neighborhood of Gjirokastra, working at the agricultural secondary school in Kordhocë. 5 - Kosta N[?]a[?], from the village of Shtëpëz, working at the water supply enterprise. 6 - Katri V[?]uçi, from the "11 January" neighborhood, construction technician. According to the deductions, citizen Shanë Ajeti was killed because of his honesty in reporting the theft of large quantities of grain and a "Skoda" vehicle with Tirana plates, which was part of the Italian aid and which was seized at the home of citizen Azuzar O[?]muti and later at the scene. After the beginning of the investigation related to this murder, the first results show that the above-mentioned suspected perpetrators headed toward Tirana.
