2 years ago, 23 March '92, the grand rally of victory over the Enverist dictatorship
22 March will be a date that will remain marked in the pantheon of historical events and figures of pluralism and its victory in Albania. On this day, in Skënderbej Square, over 500,000 Albanians took part in the grand rally of victory. 24 hours before this historic event, in this square the final testament was left by the martyrs of democracy: Vilson Blloshmi, Genc Leka, Trifon Xhagjika, Tom Ndoja, Havzi Nela, Pjetër Arbnori [?], etc. The square, filled by the human tide, warmly welcomed the leader of the PD, Sali Berisha, who, with wisdom and unbreakable courage, led Albania to this victory, never once being frightened by terror, threats, slander, etc. The unrestrained enthusiasm of hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of participants in the rally, with ovations and cheers for the victory of democracy, definitively overturned Sali Berisha's determination through this demonstration. "For 50 years in a row these people, who have gathered here, have been deceived, terrorized, and denied rights they had won, such as freedom of speech and others. This victory is yours. Only in you does the new government have its basis. It will establish law and not the diktat of cliques; it will fight corruption and every mafia with determination," Mr. Berisha said before hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of Albanians who interrupted him for minutes on end with fiery cheers. With tears of freedom in their eyes, enthusiasm and hope, the square spilled out into the streets and squares of Tirana until late at night. The day of 22 March was the most important political and social event for Albanians in the last 50 years. Albania, for the first time after 50 years, saw the winner and the loser, the wild and cruel loser who would not accept leaving power through the free vote of a people worn down and spiritually wounded by an anti-human ideology. For the first time, Albanians won their government through a free vote. This second victory served as the crowning achievement of the Albanians' struggle for freedom and democracy. For the first time, pluralism and the new democratic forces found themselves leading the country. The victory of 22 March 1992 came as the result of sacrifices and blood shed for a free and democratic Albania. Thousands of intellectuals, students, workers, peasants, political persecuted people and ordinary citizens became part of this historic change. The enthusiasm of that day remains today a symbol of national unity for democracy.
Telegrams from President Berisha addressed to Presidents Tuđman, Izetbegović and Clinton
Telegrams from President Berisha addressed to Presidents Tuđman, Izetbegović, and Clinton The press and television yesterday reported on the conversation between President Boris Yeltsin and Serbian President Milošević, as well as on the statement by the Russian president, according to which he proposed undertaking actions to defend the Muslim enclave of Goražde. In a message sent to the President of Croatia, Franjo Tuđman, President Sali Berisha positively assessed this decision by the Russian president, but expressed deep concern about the formula in which it was conceived. President Berisha wrote that President Yeltsin's proposal is unacceptable if it means creating Serbian-protected corridors toward the Muslim enclaves in Bosnia. In his message to the President of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović, President Berisha expressed the solidarity of the Albanian people with the Bosnian people and denounced attempts to legalize Serbian occupation. A separate telegram was sent to the President of the USA, Bill Clinton, in which President Berisha asked the American administration not to accept solutions that undermine the sovereignty of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the peoples' right to freedom. In these telegrams, President Berisha stressed that peace cannot be built on rewarding aggression and that the international community must stop ethnic cleansing and the extermination of civilian populations. The trickster can no longer see his sins
Speaking yesterday in the People's Assembly on behalf of the PD parliamentary group, the secretary of this group, Mr. Astrit Patozi, rejected the accusations of the Socialist Party against the government and the President of the Republic. Responding to the accusations made by Socialist MP Skënder Gjinushi, Mr. Patozi said that today's opposition has no moral right to speak about democracy and legality, because it is the product of a system that for 50 years denied fundamental human freedoms. He said that the Socialist Party is trying to manipulate public opinion and distort reality with unfounded accusations, while it has still not distanced itself from the crimes of the past. Patozi stressed that the democratic government is facing a heavy economic and moral legacy left by the communist regime, but has nevertheless managed to restore order and undertake deep reforms. Referring to recent political developments, he declared that the opposition is trying to obstruct democratic processes through slander and institutional sabotage. "Those who kept Albania isolated for 50 years now want to lecture us about freedom," said Mr. Patozi. He further said that the government will not stop in the fight against corruption, smuggling and other forms of economic crime. In conclusion, the secretary of the PD parliamentary group called for greater political responsibility and support for reforms, considering this the only way to consolidate the rule of law in Albania.
WHY DOES AN INNOCENT PERSON LIE??
From the court proceedings, several of Nano's lies have emerged so far
In yesterday's court hearing against Fatos Nano, several issues related to his activity as former prime minister were addressed. According to the prosecution, during his tenure as head of government he approved or allowed financial procedures in violation of the law, causing the state major economic damage. Documents and testimonies were read aloud in the courtroom which, according to the accusation, prove that Nano issued orders or approved decisions in favor of persons politically linked to him. The prosecution argued that several contracts were signed without transparency and in violation of procurement rules, while the defense described these accusations as politically motivated. During the session, earlier statements by Nano were also mentioned, which, according to the prosecution, contradict the facts presented in the proceedings. It was precisely on this basis that the public question in the title was raised: if he is innocent, why does he lie? The article says that the trial is revealing ongoing inconsistencies between his statements and official documents. Representatives of the prosecution stated that the case does not concern the defendant's political beliefs, but his specific legal responsibilities. Meanwhile, Nano's supporters described the trial as a political attack. The hearing was adjourned to continue with the presentation of further evidence.

Luan, LUNA ends as a victim of crime
! The voice of Luani that was spoken in the meeting of the "de ideas" committee, at the center of yesterday's day, where the letter addressed to the President of Albania was examined, asking him to reconsider his decision in defense of the police officers. According to this voice, the path is being opened toward the rehabilitation of a new anti-national philosophy, according to which the law-enforcement forces apparently have no right to use weapons even when facing armed criminals. The irony of this approach appears in the caricature depicting an overturned lion, with the caption: "Luan, LUNA ends as a victim of crime". Beside the figure are also the words: "MR. LUAN, YOU ARE LOSING. AT EXPRESS SPEED, YOUR HUMANISM AGAINST LAWBREAKERS! VERY SIMPLE AND CLEAR!" and below: "To avoid dragging out the monotony, LET us bejzave of this monstrosity!" [?]
