Unfortunately, the government and present-day Albania have not had this opposition do anything to move the country forward. On the contrary, it and its allies have slandered and spread disinformation about Albania, but things are going well. ANSWER: The act of amnesty is a legal and political instrument used in specific cases. Under our country's conditions, it is linked both to the spirit of reconciliation and to the need to ease some of the consequences of the transition. QUESTION: What are the concrete benefits? ANSWER: The benefits are related to reducing sentences or pardoning them for certain categories, according to the criteria provided for in the law. QUESTION: Will there be consensus? ANSWER: I do not rule out the possibility of reaching a full consensus on the approval of the Amnesty law, if all sides take a rational and constructive position. (Continues on page 2)

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dhimiter Anagnosti resigns

Appointed to this post a week ago, in the PD there were no clear voices about the deal-making that had begun with the closing of the Berisha government. After mentioning the reasons, Mr. Anagnosti submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Meksi and President Berisha. The date of the amnesty procedures is set.
