Electricity planning does not justify disruptions in bread production
-Deputy Prime Minister Dashamir Shehi speaks.-
Based on the information and data reported by KESH, in several areas of Tirana and Korçë no emergency feeder has been repaired and put back into operation.
This has created a shortage of bread on a wider scale than [?]. In Tirana, out of 78 feeders, 4 are operating and 74 are not. The next day, in this unclear situation, we have the right to ask what is happening with the enterprises of other cities such as Peshkopia, Kukësi and Saranda? Not only regarding bread, but also the milk problem? Besides the supply of electricity, secondly, we believe that the shortages have been caused by poor responsibility in the supply of flour? Together with the requests our state has made to ensure the supply of bread and milk, Deputy Prime Minister Shehi, in an exclusive interview for “RD”, in which he explained that measures will be taken to fulfill the contracts, which will lead to stabilization of the situation. In this interview he calls on the company “Peshkopia” to urgently take the flour according to the item. BESDORI MESHURI
Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania is very concerned by the statements and positions of certain anti-Albanian circles in Greece.
Yesterday’s threatening statements about severing diplomatic relations and raising the issue of Vorio-Epirus at the Balkan conference appear in a completely new context, different from that of previous statements. These declarations are made at a time when our compatriots are presenting to the Strasbourg court the file of their request for justice and freedom in their case. The facts and arguments proving their innocence and the psychological and physical violence used against them are now well known. It is likewise a known fact that an unprecedented external pressure is being exerted on the judiciary in Albania, aiming to prejudice the court’s decision. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, assessing that the statements of Greek chauvinist and extremist circles cast a heavy shadow over relations between the two countries, believes that the Greek government must clearly distance itself from these anti-Albanian statements and positions. Reaffirming its determination to strengthen relations with Greece and with all neighboring and regional countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania firmly rejects any insinuation by chauvinist circles about the existence of “Vorio-Epirus” as well as any thesis of border revision.
