The 4th plenum of the Central Committee of the PPSH is repeated in the PS

- Maks’s beard, an iron brush to cleanse the PS of reforms - From plenum to plenum, from victory to victory “The PS is full of unity...” “PS is full of unity, full of unity,” so says yesterday’s editorial in the PS, Health and unity are visibly absent after the hostile group, the revisionist group, was denounced and condemned in the era of one of the victims of Marx’s beard. The inquisitors Nano, Pëllumbi, Ruçi, Dokle cannot forgive that back then “party cadres” dared to rise up against the ruling ideology, Marxism. And so what if they were founders and initiators of the PS? And so what if they were distinguished intellectuals, scholars with titles or scientific works? Did the PPSH not have such people and eliminate them? Indeed, precisely because they were such people, its leader Hoxha always insisted that care be taken and their intellectual tendencies be struck down. The Party is stronger without them than with them. That is why Lakroi, “Lloshi”, Zeneli, Shahollari and Kumbaro were also struck down. The “Party School” trusts only its cadres, Nano, Ruçi, Dokle, the ranks of the PS. The latest plenum of the PS cut off the rebel heads. That has always been so, and it will always be so in the P(P)S. The Party was strengthened after the 4th plenum of the Central Committee of the PPSH. Then, as now, the heads of intellectuals were cut off. The Party discovered the enemies. It has always discovered them. Enver’s vigilance was decisive. And his son turned out far too much like his father. “Nano was the one who suggested the changes, as has happened other times as well... Even in these conditions, in all the decisions we have taken, Nano’s word has played an important role” (Pëllumbi, Gazeta Shqiptare, 19 October). Fatos Ruçi suggests and carries out the order, Dokle carry out the scenarios just like Pali, Lenka, Muho. From plenum to plenum, the PS knows only “strengthening”, “unity”, and “growing vigilance”. Marx’s beard “cuts off” the heads of intellectuals “With Marxism in Albania, and not in Austria or Switzerland, the class struggle and the dictatorship of the proletariat are linked,” observes “No Comment”, declares Khevat Lloshi after they replaced him “with a former head of the Enver Association!” And what does he say? Dokle says it and the people at the base are ordered: “Comrade Nano, put the pin on the enemy” and... It had already been decided that the five members who would receive the fewest votes would be relieved of their duties as members of the presidium, Dokle inadvertently reveals in “KJ” the prepared scenario. Those who would remain in office were secured by Pëllumbi, the intellectuals who wrote that it was not their road or style, but their Euro-socialist convictions, the desire to reform the PS and give it the parameters of European socialists, that initially brought them close to the PS. The “reason” was found “Something else turned Sali Berisha” - Pëllumbi thundered at his opponent Zeneli Berisha... oh wow, Llo... Sali Pëllumbi? We go in line and he shreds his victim. It tastes better to him when it comes from the wider public, Pëllumbi satisfied with the result, “we do not explain” after the plenum... “For a long time the ‘hotheads’ have been saying that they are of one mind with domestic or foreign politicians, claiming that the PS is being led by conservative communists” (KJ, 20 October, PS leader). That is why Ruçi struck the intellectuals and brought in trusted people who need translators. We strengthen the base - says the man hurriedly brought in at the last minute by Alia, the last leader of “ZP”, Dokle’s clone... Just like the PPSH plenums The winner is not judged - says the proverb. But who is the real winner? Who lost? The Enverist clan at the head of the PS won. Fifty years of experience won, the tradition of plenums, the execution-style beheading of intellectuals won, Marx and Enver won, Nano, Ruçi, Pëllumbi, Dokle won. These won and the PS lost. The PS lost its intellectuals, lost its intellect, lost its “brain”. Marxism remained, the former state security remained, the “foreign branches” lost, they were called “mutes” with some “broken Russian”. The PS cannot be reformed “They would turn the PS into a salon club, a party that would set the tune for the PD’s European dogs” - says yesterday’s editorial in ZP about the intellectuals, its initiators and reformers. The PS cannot be reformed. It discovered the new Paçram and Lubonja. It is more “healthy”. It will call new plenums; others will have the “fate” of being martyred in service of the cause, in service of the movement and of Marx’s beard. VOTEBESIMI

Festive ceremonies begin

President Berisha in New York As we have informed you, the President of the Republic Sali Berisha continues his visit to the USA. Yesterday, Mr. Berisha and his wife were in Houston, invited personally by former US President George Bush. Today President Berisha is going to New York to take part in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the UN. Meanwhile, delegations from member states have also arrived in New York. For the UN meeting, 160 heads of state and government who will attend this ceremony have been registered. Political circles and the continent’s mass media see this as a desire by nations to continue building a new world without conflicts, oriented toward peace and understanding. The opening of the festive ceremonies in New York will begin today at 15:00 and will be covered by thousands of RTV and newspaper journalists from all over the world. Meanwhile, for Albanian RTV, Deputy Foreign Minister Arjan Starova declared that intensive meetings are being held to find understanding and to achieve Albania’s membership in the UN Security Council. President Berisha will deliver the expected speech, and in the morning he will chair a working session at the UN initiative. From New York, Sokol Terihati

Who are the “distinguished” people brought into the leadership of the PS

EDI PALOKA “It is a completely normal routine procedure that was done to refresh the party leadership with distinguished figures from the base” - the new members are distinguished people both in their party duties and in their professions; this is how Servet Pëllumbi presented the replacements for the five who were dismissed from the PS presidium. Those who were removed had almost all held scientific degrees, were people who had studied in the West, authors of scientific works and studies in certain fields, and knowledgeable in a large number of foreign languages. In political terms, the most well-known figures of the PS were removed, especially its founders, the anti-communists. So what are Pëllumbi’s and Ruçi’s chosen ones distinguished for? The three together cannot even muster a single scientific degree, not even a publication, not even a poem about cooperatives. As for foreign-language skills, Bardhyl Hasan Agasi stands out. He alone knows foreign languages as much as the third-year student. But then where are the intellectual merits of these “distinguished” people? Agasi has a dual role as part of Rita Marko’s entourage, but that cannot be taken as an intellectual value. Nor did the Agricultural Mechanics School in Durrës, where comrade Bardhyl studied, give him any such merit. In any case, comrade Servet’s preference is enough for Bardhyl Hasan Agasi to be elected as a distinguished member of the PS leadership. Another “distinguished” one with partial merit is Eduard Brau Alushi; the only difference between him and Agasi is that Alushi is not Pëllumbi’s favorite but Ruçi’s man. Alushi has another trait that is valued in the PS leadership: he is used to plotting in the background, and for that he owes credit to his father, a former commander of the military school in Novoselë. Without a doubt, the most distinguished remains Kadri Hasan Rapi. Intellectual value: zero, but this did not prevent his career, first as a youth instructor and later as secretary of the District Youth Committee of Dibër. Made a member of the PPSH precisely when others were abandoning it, comrade Rapi distinguished himself with his militancy against the PD in the famous year ’91 and later as head of the Enver Volunteers Association in Peshkopi. So there you have it: these are the “distinguished” people with whom the PS leadership was refreshed, raising its intellectual level even higher.

Important meetings of Prof. Dr. Tritan Shehu

President Herzog, Chancellor Kohl, CSU Chairman Waigel support democratic reforms in Albania Waigel: A few years ago none of us could have imagined that there would be an Albanian representative here among us in Germany The Secretary General of the PDSH, Prof. Dr. Tritan Shehu, was present at the celebrations organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the CSU. Also taking part were the highest German and Bavarian figures such as President Herzog, German Chancellor Kohl, Bavarian Prime Minister Stoiber, CSU Chairman and German Finance Minister Theo Waigel, as well as ministers, members of parliament, and others. Thirty delegations from various parties also took part. The Secretary General of the PDSH, Mr. Tritan Shehu, was also invited. In his speech, Mr. Theo Waigel spoke about the need to deepen the coalition with the CDU and clearly said that there is no reason whatsoever for any kind of coalition with the German left-wing forces. He also spoke about the progress of the CSU, the political development of Germany and Europe, especially in this period after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Later, Mr. Theo Waigel, introducing Mr. Shehu, said: “Today the Secretary General of the PDSH, Prof. Dr. Tritan Shehu, is here among us. A few years ago none of us could have imagined that there would be an Albanian representative here among us in Germany.” Then Chancellor Kohl and Bavarian Prime Minister Stoiber spoke, expressing their confidence and (Continues on page 2)

Cynicism with the lives of murdered people

SAMI MILLOSHI Anonymous everywhere, anonymous all over in ZP have selected the items included in the rubric “Economy Business ...” of the dictatorship. All this farce is only to attack Berisha. Another title is thus invented about thousands of “Berisha statistics”. Let us quote ZP of 21.10.95. “Question”: how do you comment on the inclusion of politicians from the December–March 1991 period in the order incident? Sali Berisha: in those periods more Albanians were killed, in the period 90–91, March ’91, or during the years ’86–’88 with weapons together? After this, Renaceni of ZP, supposedly, tries to convince with figures, listing under the term “total deaths” the figures he researched from 1986 all the way to 1994. Renaceni has found that in 1994 “deaths increased by +2126, or 6.4 deaths per 1,000 inhabitants, of which 421 were car accidents and 0 drownings.” Oh, Renaceni: the President spoke about killings carried out by the dictatorship and did not speak about “total deaths.” Your postulators have been silenced over counting the killings committed by the dictatorship during 1990–1991. Learn, oh Renaceni, that it is not the same as you “taking the life of an 18-year-old with a bullet, at the border (as happened to those young men in 1990–1991) and the death in bed of a sick person. Nevertheless, Renaceni, you may have a different opinion. Your Ruçi Party may order you not to accept natural deaths. And you will not accept them. Intentional and cynical in the lives of murdered people. This is what the soul’s Renaceni testifies to. That is why they are also against the punishment of genocide, him and his boss, because they write the guilty and the innocent together.

In steel unity every enemy breaks its head

Not just for laughing At the last meeting of the leading committee of the Socialist Party, the floor was opened by its Secretary General, comrade Gramoz Ruçi. With the order of the trusted Bureau “Before we vote as the leadership, keep a few things in mind. First, we are a renewed Party of Labour, cleaned up by the former Political Bureau. Second, we have based ourselves and will continue to base ourselves in the future on the principles of Marx and Lenin and are fortunate to enjoy the support of all the world’s Marxist-Leninists and the backing of the international proletariat, which is suffering the consequences of the exploitation of the capitalist and imperialist bloodsucker. Third, since we are comrades of the same communist ideal of the world, we understand each other even without knowing one another’s language, just as comrade Enver used to speak with Dimitrov and Stalin... For this reason, to learn as many foreign languages as possible I call foreign influence and pronounced liberalism. But fourth, our party has half a century of experience in the excellent leadership that has brought the country to the highest peaks of triumphant socialism. The top leaders from the ranks of the working class have been the most successful, so there is no need for intellectuals at the head of the party, especially since an intellectual can be bourgeoisified under imperialist and revisionist influence. Fifth, due account must be taken of each person’s merits in the tooth-and-nail struggle against the Democratic Party and President Berisha. The uncompromising struggle against the PD and its President remains in the future too the litmus test and the main goal of our party program. Sixth, Glory to Marxism-Leninism. Down with the President.” Then Servet Pëllumbi takes the floor and applauds first himself. After him, others also applaud except for 4–5 people who did not see fit to clap. I believe it was clear who does not support the continuity of our party; a threatening glance was cast at Gramoz and no one clapped. The unity of one is steel-like and whoever stands against this unity breaks their head. After this I say there is no need for a secret ballot - Servet Pëllumbi intervenes again. He moves and throws out himself, just as comrade Enver had instructed. No, no, we will do the voting, even if only formally, Gramoz Ruçi insists. We must be in order with the documentation, because you never know. Then we will send our decision to the BS[p?], where it will be officially approved. And the voting was done. The result is known...
