Another accusation against Doke. This time within the PS
SH.GJANI MP of the PS “Whatever the truth may have been, it could be shown no better than by the work and the harshness of his own actions. “ZP” has become a house of property, a special hotel; if they had had this prime minister here before, they would have been a disgrace, a “special hotel” that cries with tears, as the people say; is it something to laugh about?”
The accusations and attacks directed at the PS MP, Doke’s former closest associate, have begun to become public after he came out in opposition to the chairman of his party. Very soon he will appear before the public and perhaps also before the investigative bodies over the scandal of the “theft” of 240,000 lek. The accusations and attacks that began against him are highly significant, since the PS deputy from Lezha, Selami Xhepa, was one of the most active in defending Doke from the beginning of the accusations made against him as former deputy prime minister and deputy chairman of the PS.
It was precisely Doke who appointed Xhepa to the PS organization in Lezha at a time when the socialist base in this district opposed and received such a name coldly. It seems that now, when the time has come to repay this political debt and defend the man who “cemented” him into the socialist leadership, Xhepa has come out with a denouncing statement against Doke. This statement was made public before the local party structures in Lezha and later was sent to the party center.
EDI PALOKA
The accusations and attacks from several MPs (especially Anai) not only against Doke’s activity at the head of the PS, but also the many accusations of misuse of local funds, are placing many of his defenders and collaborators in this party in difficult positions. Among them, Selami Xhepa has been one of the most active in his opposing stances and in efforts to defend Doke in public.
In a document kept in the leadership of the PS organization in Lezha, where for the first time Xhepa “abandons” Doke, the socialist MP accuses the leaders of his party of trying to impose on the local structures in Lezha a candidate without the approval of the base. “So far, because of our positions, we have been forced to take part in activities that have not always been in line with the political morality of a democratic party,” the document says.
According to this material, the conflicts in the PS organization in Lezha have been longstanding and centered on the imposition of Selami Xhepa as district leader. In this document he indirectly admits that he did not enjoy the support of the base and that his appointment was made through intervention from above.

Statement by the Spokesman of the President of the Republic
Tirana, 22 April 1995
The Spokesman of the President of the Republic, Mr. Arben Cici, has recently made a statement to the Albanian press and foreign agencies, in which it is clarified that the President of the Republic’s latest interview, Dr. Sali Berisha, published on page 2 of the newspaper “Zeri i Popullit” dated 20 April 1995, is not complete and was not published according to the authorized text.
According to the spokesman, important parts of the President’s answers were omitted in the published text, headlines and subheadings were inserted that distort the essence of the interview, and other editorial interventions were made that alter the meaning of the statements.
The President of the Republic has expressed his regret over this manipulation and has requested that the public be acquainted with the authentic text of the interview.
The statement says that respect for professional ethics and for the truth is an essential condition for a free and democratic press.
7 philosophies — no philosophy
SAMI MILOSHI
1-the philosophy of the absence of concept
It is knowingly established that the left among us, the PS and its majority, had no alternative or governing project. The lack of a concept and of a political alternative brings with it the emptiness of action. When there are no ideas, improvisation prevails.
2-the philosophy of politics without work
As is also known from the Marxist tradition, politics cut off from work, production and the real economy opens the door to demagoguery. This is an old disease of the Albanian left.
3-the philosophy of non-achieving alliances
The loudly proclaimed alliances turned out to be contentless and short-lived. Instead of building a functioning coalition, the politics of the day and mandate arithmetic were chosen.
4-the philosophy of monologue
The shift to monologue was natural when concept, work and alliance are lacking. Political monologue is a sign of isolation and inability to dialogue with society.
5-the philosophy of distrust
From crisis to crisis, from promise to unfulfilled promise, citizens’ distrust of political speech grew. This distrust is not accidental, but a direct product of their behavior.
6-the philosophy of stages and scenarios
When there is no substance, stages are set up. When there is no program, scenarios are invented. Politics turns into a performance, but the public is not deceived forever.
7-the philosophy of no philosophy
In the end what remains is emptiness: a politics without backbone, without ideas, without morals and without responsibility. This is the philosophy of no philosophy.

Another deception by ZP
Anti-reformers’ eyes ache from the progress and momentum of the reforms
The President of the Republic does not lie; what hurts, gentlemen, is your desire to blacken yourselves.
Above all, you should learn this: today we are in the first ranks of development, where all transformations are being carried out as a result of the strengthening of the market and the free economy. To accuse the President of the country of being a manipulator and a liar because he publicly expresses his own conviction about the success of the reforms is not only political slander, but also proof of profound political despair.
To say that foreign investments are not coming at all, or that economic progress is only propaganda, means closing your eyes to reality. Statistics, financial institutions and international organizations have assessed the country’s economic growth rates.
Instead of accepting the truth, you choose personal attack and deliberate distortion. This is an old method of “ZP”.
