Rilindja Demokratike

e mërkurë 26 prill 1995

For the Democratic Party, 1995 will be the year of the consolidation of reforms

Statement by the Presidency of the Democratic Party During these last three months and meanwhile, at a time when the PSSH is trying to come out of reform and revive Stalinist populism, with the help of fake anti-communists and extremist nostalgics, the Democratic Party has been arguing in every cell of society, in every corner of Albania, for the value of reforms. On this occasion, it not only has the need but also the duty to present to public opinion the balance sheet of the first three months of 1995, to define its directions for this year, and to identify the tasks facing all party structures. In these three months, the government has taken measures to accelerate privatization, strengthen macroeconomic stability, improve the investment climate, and increase public confidence in the market economy. Reforms in the administration, banking system, agriculture, and privatized enterprises have entered a more determined phase. Measures have been taken to increase budget revenues, limit inflation, and discipline public spending. The Democratic Party believes that 1995 should be the year of making reforms concrete and bringing democratic standards closer to European ones. In this regard, special attention will be paid to strengthening the rule of law, protecting private property, fighting corruption, and consolidating pluralist institutions. The PD calls on all members, supporters, and citizens to firmly support this course, reject demagoguery, and work for the modernization of the country. Only through deep and lasting reforms will Albania be able to integrate into the European family and ensure prosperity for its citizens. Does Namik Dokle's “print shop” exist?

On the scandal “Alia-Nano-Dokle-Ruçi-Bencu” - 150 thousand dollars disappeared forever EDI PLAKA Milo dollars. It was written about this scandal that happened three years ago in the PS, a scandal that should not be left in oblivion, but should be clarified. Once again, the issue of a printing house allegedly linked to the name of Namik Dokle and to a sum of 150 thousand dollars comes to the fore. According to sources published earlier, this amount was used to buy equipment, but there is no document proving that the printing house ever actually operated. The names Alia, Nano, Dokle, Ruçi, Bencu are mentioned as part of the political and financial scandal that has shaken the Socialist Party. If this printing house exists, where is it located? Who managed it? Who benefited from the funds? These questions, according to the author, remain unanswered and require a full public investigation. (the final text is partially illegible)[?]
