PSSH, the last mask of PPSH

The debates of Thursday's session change nothing in PSSH's stance on the constitution The carpet must be gotten rid of! Communism in Europe and in our country has died ideologically and politically; it has met the same end as the dictatorship. PSSH can no longer hide which political force it identifies with. In our opinion, the social-democrat mask has finally fallen away. Mr. Gjinushi's speech in the name of PSSH left no shadow of doubt about this. From the creation of the fundamental program of PPSH up to its 6th plenum in the 1960s, the political orientation of socialism in our country has been anarchic. According to PSSH, socialism was led in a completely wrong way. The Marxist-Leninist theories with the Albanian variant of the 1960s and onward were supposedly correct. This is madness! This is playing with the fate of the nation. Why does PSSH want to drag Albania and Albanians backward? No one believes it! The Albanian people have taken this political force out of the game. The only way to become a real opposition in a democratic country is to abandon the past. PSSH's latest step in all former communist countries has been distancing itself from the past, renouncing its glorification, rejecting the figure of the dictator, and orienting itself toward genuine social democracy. Therefore, Mr. Gjinushi is wasting his time looking for social democracy where it is not. PSSH cannot present itself as a political force of the future with the mask of the past. It must make its choice: either with dead communism, or with the democratic future of the country. 1) 54-year testimony no. 4 - Vefter n q saji The Constitution is one of the most delicate and most important issues in the country's political developments. In a democratic system, the basic law is the main pillar of the constitutional state and of guaranteeing human freedoms and rights. Albania's new constitution cannot be a document manipulated by forces that seek to preserve the privileges of the past. PSSH, through its stance, has shown that it is not ready to accept the standards of modern democracy. It continues to cling to the old spirit, seeking to prevent the adoption of a constitution that would serve the Albanian citizen. (Continues on page 2)

Crime and violence

Under every property or asset, looting, murder and violence have entered a vicious circle that seriously threatens public order and peace. Therefore, the state must react firmly, but in accordance with the law. In our country, after the democratic changes, organized crime and acts of violence have emerged as troubling phenomena. This is linked to the weakness of institutions, the difficult transition, and the efforts of criminal elements to take advantage of chaos. The fight against crime cannot be waged with slogans, but with reforms, with the strengthening of the police and the justice system. The citizen must feel that the state is close to him, that life and property are truly protected. In this framework, politics must not use public order as a propaganda weapon. Crime is a national problem and requires cooperation from all forces. Political violence, whether in words or in action, further fuels the climate of insecurity and damages trust in institutions. Anti-reform

296 laws, decrees and amendments against 307 in the PPSH infrastructure! Is there any doubt that work is moving forward? Its attributes and determinations are: Guesswork, assumptions and uncertainty dominate the opposition's analyses regarding reform. PSH or PSSH seems to view the process of transformation through the glasses of the past. Every step forward in the economy and in the rule of law is presented as a threat to its interests. Instead of contributing alternatives, it has chosen systematic obstruction. That is what makes it anti-reform. The opposition has voted against or sabotaged an important part of the legislative package of the transition. Laws on privatization, on land, on administration, on public finances have been opposed not because of their content, but because they were seen as undermining the old basis of political control. If the number of blocked acts reaches into the hundreds, then we are dealing with a strategy, not with chance. (Continues on page 2)

Corruption

When corruption is spoken of, it means one of the most serious wounds of our society. It harms the administration, the economy and public morality. In a country that seeks to build a rule-of-law state, corruption is a direct enemy of reform. The opposition often tries to use this issue as a general accusation, but without proposing concrete mechanisms to fight it. The fight against corruption requires transparency, institutional oversight and individual accountability. It cannot be limited to political declarations. Only the punishment of violators, regardless of connections or office, can restore public trust in the state. (Continues on page 2)

Destabilization

Throughout its entire life, the party has had destabilization of the country as a symbol of anti-nationalism. Yesterday it tore the state apart from its foundations; today it tries to undermine democratic institutions. Instead of accepting the rules of political play, it seeks tension, crisis and chaos. This is the philosophy of a force that does not know how to live without conflict. For every economic or social difficulty, the opposition sees an opportunity to strike at the government rather than to help the country. Its daily rhetoric aims to feed pessimism and mistrust. But citizens understand that destabilization is not an alternative. (Continues on page 2)
