This great success for Albania expresses not only the broadest consensus for Albanian democracy, but also the positive assessment of the progress of political, constitutional, and economic reforms in our country. In the Council of Europe Assembly’s assessment of our country’s progress, the spirit of good cooperation, respect for human rights, democratic freedoms, respect for minorities, protection of property, as well as progress in the market economy were emphasized.
