“Koha Jonë” - candidate for
deputies of the Socialist Party
For the Socialist Party, the work of the old peasant with the crops is coming back. That was not expected! It completely upsets all the calculations for the crops at the end, under conditions of rivalry, the open plunge by oneself from the middle of the opponents' ranks. That is what happened with the assistant of the teacher Edi Rama and with the journalist who recently arrived from Shkodra.
For the socialists, the mission starts from Tirana. The biggest competition is to secure a place on the list of deputies in the capital district. 22 is the number of deputies that belong to it. Then comes the second district, Lezha, with 7 deputies. If Tirana becomes, through electoral reform, a district of its own, then the number of deputies will increase even more. The fact is that, under such conditions, for the socialists the race is quite heated and, consequently, clashes are inevitable. First of all there are some names of protagonists from the communist past, such as former members of the Political Bureau, ministers, etc., who still feel strong and refuse to give way to the young. This makes it impossible so far to officially announce the Socialist candidates, even though at least the capital district should have been the first to be announced. Meanwhile, the implementation of the (old) candidacy formula has come to the fore, no longer of the historical socialists, but of candidates that include young party militants and especially workers or journalists from the opposing daily press. That is what happened with the assistant of the teacher Edi Rama and with the journalist who recently arrived from Shkodra.

Mr. Gazidede, one of President E. Berlusconi's chosen people to be a member of the commission for drafting programs in Forza Italia. He is the son of Dhespot Gazidedes
At yesterday's meeting with Mr. Tritan Shehu, the leader of the right-wing force, 'Forza Italia', the director of the force's section for external relations, Mr. Gazidede, expressed his interest in strengthening relations between our two countries and between the two center-right political forces. He assessed that Albania is the right country where the most successful progress of these reforms is taking place.

20 million dollars from Serbia for the return of former communists to Albania
The Russian agency “Itar-Tass” reports:
20 million dollars
from Serbia for the return
of former communists to
Albania
For “YD”, the lion's share
The anti-Albanian fund is growing, extending all the way to the arms of the left “independent”
According to some indications, this “role” of the Belgrade newspaper is becoming increasingly evident. From its sources, it is learned that at a meeting between Radovan Karaxhiç and senior Serbian leaders, a broader campaign against Albania was discussed, including internal political destabilization. In this context, a fund of 20 million dollars is mentioned for the return of former communists to Albania.

For the Socialist Party, the work of the old peasant with the crops is coming back. That was not expected! Such shifts have been caused by the candidacy of new figures, but also by the pressure of old figures who seek to preserve their positions on the lists of deputies. Since for the larger districts, such as Tirana and Lezha, the lists are the most coveted, the clashes have become fierce.

Kastriot Islami's protest
Where are the intellectuals in the Socialist Party?
Such “intellectuals” will be in the Socialist Party lists if they are chosen from the obvious punishment of uncles. Peshkrye in the mouth Islami knows very well the names of the intellectuals they recruited, since he himself has put many of them into the candidacy
The indignation with the leadership of the Socialist Party is also being manifested by the deputy prime minister of the Greek socialist government, the Minister of Defense, F. Samaras, who also aims to be prefect for the Saranda area. So far, nothing new from that side. It is by no means clear what will happen with Kastriot Islami, the well-known economist of the Socialist Party, who is also voicing criticism of the lists and the way the candidates are selected.
